Lets see, mines a 62" , 20 lb draw. My friends a 66" with a 25 lb draw. Beginners stuff on the draw weight, but it'll last. And theyre both the same make- Samick Polaris. Almost went with a Samick Sage, but this one seemed better suited for our tastes.
I did get to test mine at the shop alongside my friend- Really smooth shots. We did try a compound some months back, but I just didn't enjoy the way it draws and locks/holds in place as much. Plus price...Might get a compound for bow fishing one day much later down the line though.

So who all is in the path of this upcoming snowstorm for the United States? It looks like we'll get some of it but miss a sizable chunk that the eastern state folks will be getting.

...Wait, you mean there's MORE snow coming?
Okay, gotta start plotting to avoid shoveling again...

We were supposed to get snow today...but didn't so far. Keeping an eye out though. Its not often you see snow down here in florida.

I think there's about one more hour before we start to get the brunt of it in my area. I'm not looking forward to shoveling this. Nope.

I liked it when there was no such thing as spam in the world But alas, we just can't always have nice things.
And the snow? Oh yeah, it's like a moster out here. A monster the freezes everything including the internet.

My arms are pretty sore right now. We got about ten inches of the stuff in our area, but we did miss out on the foot or so the city where I live got hit with, so I'll take that as a blessing.

I got nothing. Just like the last big storm. And the one before, and the one before that.
I haven't seen snow in ages.

So due to the huge snowstorm, I'm at home today! How are all of my fellow Staioniers?

They didn't cancel my classes! Although I only had 1, but I still had to drive an hour to almost run into a pole.

I barely noticed if there was anything yesterday, as far as Kentucky's concerned. What I do know is that roads were clear enough for my drive, and it's sheer cold outside.
I also might be losing my ability to differentiate salt between ice and snow. All I know is that I'm driving over it.
[There's only spots, by the way. The roads aren't covered or anything.]

I got where I needed to go before any of the snow hit. It was a disappointment over here. It's cold and windy but there's just not enough actual snow to do anything fun with it.

No snow here obviously, but we did get hit with some rain and wind gusts. I had a 1.6 mile walk in it. No regrets.

Today is the birthday of mangaka Shotaro Ishinomori. As you know, Ishinomori is the mind behind the manga Skull Man and Cyborg 009, as well as creator of the first two Super Sentai series, Himitsu Sentai Goranger and J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai; but we remember him more fondly for the longest-lasting gift he bestowed upon us, a tale of cyborg heroes who ride motorcycles and fight injustice. Happy Birthday, Kamen Rider's creator. (As performed by CAKEBOSS Kousei Kougami of the Kougami Foundation from Kamen Rider OOO)

So it turns out last night my boss was boasting on Facebook under the assumption he'd somehow scrape together the funding to hire about ten times the number of employees he has now. He decided to do this by throwing out a projected completion date that would literally require there to be ten of me. If you were on iScribble last night you probably caught me freaking out and bolting. As a result I got something in the realm of no sleep, and I am now wide awake at 8AM for what seems to be the first time in months.
So on the bright side, there was no real impossible deadline given. PHEW!
