Is MegaMan Zero discontinued? I want to buy it, but EB told my brother it was discontinued and another store said it wasn't. I asked other people and they said they didn't know.

The only place I seem to shop these days is Amazon.com, so I went and took a look there. They don't have it anymore, they only offer it from individual private sellers. So, I'd say it's true that it's been discontinued.

Well, they're still selling them at Capcom.com... For $30 whereas Zero 2 is going for $20! What the...?! That just boggles my mind. I guess there must have been a cartridge shortage?

My parents would never let me buy anything off the internet. So my only hope is to get lucky and find a new copy...or try to find a used one. I was really hoping to buy it for my brother's B-day. Oh well.

I'm beging to think that there taking the mega man series a little over board. Like MMZ and MMBN Its going little to far what happend to side scroling clasics like MMX and just MM they were perfect. But Know u have to collect millions of items and sprites Im Meen Common please. The MM's on pst are ok but I cant stand MMZ and MMBN.

Lots of Megaman is good, just wish they had more Megaman LEGENDS!! But the whole thing is getting rather rediculous. On cartoon network they have a commercial featuring all the new megaman stuff and HOLY CROW there's way too much. They need to do one at a time!

They need to do one at a time! Consider that a good thing. The sooner they get EXE and Zero out of the way, the sooner they can pick up something like... psst... Legends...

I agree, I mean nowa days a game is in production for maybe about a couple of months and then it is gone. Heh, I remember when you could find games that had been out for years easily in stores. EDIT: Also I do not consider the Battlenetwork games true MM games. I am sick of them being so damn popular, same with the Zero series. Although it does look better than BN does.

I like the Zero series better in that there is a bit more "deep meat" to it plotwise, it's another part of this massive timeline Capcom has (it may possibly lead into Legends), and it goes back to Megaman's roots: Side-scrolling. (Boy! I thought it was dead for a moment there!)
Battle Network never appealed to me in the fact that it feels like another cash-in on the collect-and-battle phase. Being beaten to death with Pokémon clones, it's no longer my cup of tea. Maybe I am just too old and the genre lost its charm.
That and the BN just turned the universe on its head: What are these characters from other continuums/timelines doing there? We have the Bonnes on TV and Zero and Forte galloping around in cyberspace!
Okay, and the lack of Harpuia isn't too my fancy either.

I never played any of the Pokemon-like games, so I don't have any problem with the battle network series, but the thing that makes it kind of...less substantive, I guess, is the fact that since it's about a few school-age kids trying to save the entire world, it's a little more "out there" than even the Legends or X series, even though BN takes place in a more "normal" world.
I know, MegaMan, Roll, and Tron are all teenagers, but that's still 5 or 6 years older than Yai & Lan and all of them. Also, I think that in their world, it's obvious kids have to grow up a little faster, too.
Anyway, I thought the gameplay was pretty solid, but I wasn't turned into a fanatic like a great deal of players seemed to have been. I'll bet if they really had a "Go, Bonne, Go!" TV show in real life, the MML series would be just as popular.
Okay, about MM Zero...I really like the gameplay, and the ability to switch between blaster and saber. I haven't gotten that far into it, but that's because it's HARD!
And just to make this the longest post ever, I'll give you my secret ideas about Zero's continuity: Zero, not X, is the Reploid originally created by Dr. Light. X was created by Dr. Wily as a decoy, that's why he looks like Mega Man. This is also why all the Reploids modeled after X's program almost unconditionally go Maverick. All of the Dr. Light documents were, of course, faked, as were the holograms, I guess. Wily re-programmed Zero after discovering him, which is why he went Maverick at first and still has nightmares about it.
There we go. I know it doesn't fit the "accepted" theory, but I'm just all rebellious like that.

heh... lol. I just sold a copy to my local EB a couple of days ago... I hated it personally. I play the game for good ol' Rockman(X) not zero... not to mention it is the hardest megaman game out there, although I did beat it in every way possible.
anyway, it hasnt been discontinued... have you checked EBgames.com? my parents dont let me shop online either, but you can use your cash to buy a gift card at your local store and use that online! I just bought a game that way... should get here this week too (ugh, cheap shoipping 0,o).
I dont know why no one has it around you.. the local eb here does... although I live in upstate NY, and they have very few gamers here....
(staff, if you dont like the following, please remove it... and please dont ban me.)
anyway, its kinda illegal... but there is another way you could go if you are really desperate for it... although it is illegal, and Id reccomend you dont go that way. Id probably get banned if I explained fully, but I thought I should say this much anyway. this is all I'll say... any more on the topic would probably get me banned.
so good luck on your hunt!

A long time ago in a galaxy far away I would think Zero was a girl. This was before they had voices. Seriously, he LOOKs like a girl, sometimes he ACTS like a girl. He even flirts with MM like a girl! Ehh something like that. And then he had to get a girlfriend with very large hips and calls herself a very furtile flower name. Anime chicks.. psh.

When does Zero flirt with X? I must have missed that game.
