When does Zero flirt with X? I must have missed that game. ...I wanna know too. I thought that the Zero x X pairing thing was just something that some crazy X series fanatics did...#nosmileys ...Well, obviously it is, or else there wouldn't be Iris. ^^; ...I've made comics and comics making fun of Zero's girlyness. ...and yet, I still think he's awesome. gahaha, I bet they gave him that dumb voice in X7 so that there wouldn't be any doubt that he's a guy. #nosmileys ...and, yeah, to keep my post on topic, I got Megaman Zero when it first came out, so I don't know about it now. I think stores like EB games have it used. The one by me's got tons of used GBA games, so you might want to check a store that sells used games like that.#nosmileys

heh... lol. I just sold a copy to my local EB a couple of days ago... I hated it personally. I play the game for good ol' Rockman(X) not zero... not to mention it is the hardest megaman game out there, although I did beat it in every way possible. anyway, it hasnt been discontinued... have you checked EBgames.com? my parents dont let me shop online either, but you can use your cash to buy a gift card at your local store and use that online! I just bought a game that way... should get here this week too (ugh, cheap shoipping 0,o). I dont know why no one has it around you.. the local eb here does... although I live in upstate NY, and they have very few gamers here.... (staff, if you dont like the following, please remove it... and please dont ban me.) anyway, its kinda illegal... but there is another way you could go if you are really desperate for it... although it is illegal, and Id reccomend you dont go that way. Id probably get banned if I explained fully, but I thought I should say this much anyway. this is all I'll say... any more on the topic would probably get me banned. so good luck on your hunt! I think I'll stick to the legal way of getting games, lol. MMZ is no where to be found around me.(Toronto) I can't think of anymore stores to go to in my area. Maybe I could try that gift card idea if I ever get around to it.

By the way, Zero had voice-acting on X4; he sounded like a guy there, although X sounded like an 8-year-old girl again. What's up with that, anyway? It's Mega "Man," not well, you know.

Ok, ok, I know this topic is over a year old, but I just discovered the Mega Man Zero series, and let me just tell you as a fan of the classic series.... it rocks.
The gameplay is far greater than X and the weapons are just classic. In case no one was informed because they were too biased to check it out (admit it, a lot of you guys just put it down instantly because it has Zero as the main character), there are four weapons: the buster (which looks a LOT different then Zero or X's in MMX), the Z-saber (which looks a lot more like a saber than it used to, IMHO), the triple rod (which is probably the stupidest. It's like an extendy stick that doesn't extend too far and isn't powerful enough to use it.), and then, the coolest, the shield boomerang which both deflects normal bullets and can be charged up and thrown like a boomerang.
The great thing about the weapon system is that they can be leveled up the more you use them. For example, the buster starts off by only being able to charged a bit and can only shoot 3 bullets at a time, but the more you use it, it can shoot 4 bullets at a time, be charged up a lot, and the charge can come faster. It's tons of fun and adds an incentive to use weapons more.
The story, like FG said, has depth, and unlike the completely lost in translation X series, IT MAKES SENSE! AND *gasp* IT'S PRETTY SOPHISTICATED! Mind you not as sophisticated as MML, but it's pretty close. I won't spoil things that have been spoiled for me, but you owe it to yourself if you a MM fan to check it out.
The way the first one plays out is really cool. Unlike the X or Classic series, you don't select from a list of bosses, you select missions with no person associated with it. Mind you most end up fighting a "robot master", some have you fighting a nameless giant robot like this train thingie. But, get this, you can actually fail the missions and still progress! And where you select your missions from, the Resistance Base, can be explored and you can go back to each place you've been to in a mission and get more Cyber-Elves and what-not.
The reason that I'm saying all of these things is that there is a lot of ignorance around. Like that Dark Enigma thinking it wasn't even a side scroller @_@. Why do people hate this game before they've even played it? It's tons of fun and has a lot of replay value.
The reason that I stayed away from the series at first was because every review I read said it was "harder than usual and can get frustrating" (that's not a direct quote from any one particular review, but a general statement). It's not. It's challenging, but not rip-your-hair-out hard or "no matter how many times I try this level I'll never beat it" hard. True it may take a more than a couple tries to beat a level, but who wants a wimpy game anyways?
On the topic of hardness, people claimed that MMZ2 was even harder than the first one. @_@ I have NO clue where they got this idea. It's easier than the first because the bosses are easier and the Cyber-elves require less crystals!! Mind you the levels are a lot harder, but they're not impossible.
My status on the series is that I've played and beaten MMZ 1 and 2 and am supposed to get 3 tonight. 1 is a really fresh gaming experience and 2 definitely improves on it. The major differences between 1 and 2 are that the triple rod becomes the chain rod which acts as a grappling hook and is a lot cooler and probably the best weapon in the series. Also, different suits that are easier to obtain than the X series suits are available which have different strengths and weaknesses. The biggest bad change is the openness of the world. You're in a new Resistance Base and you're not connected to the other levels you go to in the original.
NOW you guys can form a good opinion of the game. OH HO HO HO HO!!!

When do X and Zero flirt? Well, there was one bit of a... strange cutscene in MMX6. They're both smiling at each other, and X is saying "Yes, we will join hands!". Add a few hearts around the edges of it, and I swear, it looks like one of them's proposed or something. But other than that, there's probably a series that tells what X and Zero do in between the games. Most likely called MegaMan XXX. XD
Anyways, I just got MMZ4 right when it was released. It's definitely great, and Craft is perhaps one of my favorite characters in the series. Because I always seem to love the characters who show up for one or two games, then are never seen again. As in: Dynamo, Glyde, Elpizo, Spider...
