The only reason for a double post is because the forums only take 3 file uploads per post. Malt Island: I wasn't sure what to do with this at first until I thought of how the city looks pretty central and has some monuments so I whipped up a cathedral (still useable) . I really hope it isn't too much details. With people explaining some things I kinda wanted to explain how I thought of some of the subgate ideas I created.

Okay here we go, time for my last few entries. Buscan Island: At one point the settlers tried building a power plant and when they started digging down they revealed ruins. The power plant has been deserted and remains inoperable. Numerous warning signs surround the area. The red light on the front means it's not safe to go in (the plant itself not the ruins). To be honest Buscan Island reminded me a lot of The Old City and I had heard rumors that the power plant turned into a subgate or that there was a refractor inside or something and decided to give this a whirl. (The white is supposed to represent snow, my airbrush stinks) Tronne Island: This subgate calmly sits far away from the city and is surrounded by a wood fence (it goes all the way around but I was lazy here). It's shows it's age through some deteriorating colors and even one of the lights is broken. Honestly this one baffled me more than Malt Island did then thought of the ranch and thought a fence would be cool. Dashe Island: A hut like structure surrounded by some totem poles (like in Pokte) and sits on a small island. Since it resides in a remote area, the surrounding ivy has grown up onto the poles and gate damaging the structures just a bit. I really tried to fit the feel of the town on the island with somewhat Japanese themes.

In a business, at least 25% of your customers MUST be -new- customers, in order for your venture to be a worthwhile profitable action... I think when Capcom reps said there wasn't enough interest, they meant the game hadn't brought in any customers that weren't already fans of the series. So it did fail to get the support they wanted, because it was all old business... "regular customers" can't keep a business afloat, regardless of how many you think you have. (This has been proven by several failed businesses that catered specifically to their repeat customers, and never tried to get any new ones, the 25% rule is documented if you care to know more) So the only thing that could have saved MML3 was more people... but specifically people who didn't know what the Eff MML was. I'm not saying I agree with their decision, I'm just saying that there are legitimate business related numbers that could be the reason they made it. You've got to admit though, the advertising Capcom did to try and tell new customers about it in the first place wasn't great. In fact, it was pretty horrible. The Prototype itself would've been ideal for something like that. Nintendo Power did get that article, but it happened way too late in the game to do any good. They really only seemed to target Capcom Unity members and people who already followed Capcom and Mega Man stuff. I'd rather see a remake than a straight port, simply because I've played the original Mega Man Legends enough times that it'd be difficult to justify buying it for a fourth time, and a straight port just wouldn't be able to compete visually with anything on the market now. And the audio would definitely need to stay PSX-quality, because the N64 version's audio was horrible. It isn't like they haven't got an engine set up to work optimally with this series or anything. What we got to see of the Prototype gameplay footage looked like it controlled pretty well, and Chris Hoffman didn't have any complaints about it when he demoed it. Thanks Dashe, I was going to bring this up myself. Capcom has a horrible rep with marketing a product (or idea) and honestly I didn't find out about Legends 3 being in development until one day I stopped over here on the forums and saw the new Legends 3 section. My first thoughts were "This better not be a joke." If Capcom wants to reach people then they need to put in the resources to do so.

I just think at this point they should recreate the first 2 games from the ground up (add in some more things here and there (don't ask me what I'm just saying), update the graphics, gameplay, new voice actors, etc) and get some new sales data. They always bring up how it wasn't a huge seller but this is from a console 3 generations back, i don't think there were as many hard core gamers as there is now. Plus we have the internet where word travels quicker and such. People hear about things. Capcom needs to stop looking at old sales data and get some new data. Wasn't that darn internet survey supposed to help with that? I find it sad that Legends was the 3rd version of Mega Man but even to this day it doesn't get as much attention as the other series do.

I was playing through the demo today (something I hadn't done in a while) just to get reacquainted with it. I just discovered that you guys put in the moving clouds! That was one of my favorite parts of the first Legends game and made it feel like a nice summer day when I played through! I'm glad you guys incorporated that into TLT!

Awesome! Just one other little aspect I want to point out, in your redesign I noticed the triangle pattern has been rotated upward a bit. It's actually a 'D' for Dragge and more of a subtle nod to the unique 'D' I've always used for the character, if you guys could set it right ways on the final model like in my initial drawings it'd be most appreciated. But other than that, yes I totally love the redesign and I feel like you guys have been able to give it a more fearsome "Don't mess with me or I'll screw you up" appearance! I'm also glad to hear that you guys have kept the 2nd eye to make it more adaptable to situations and I eagerly await the final texturing and addition to the model gallery!

Really nice work on the Sabel so far guys! I love the redesign 100% and I'm really looking forward to seeing the textures on it. I'm just curious do you guys still have the eye on the back of its head or did you scrap that? Either way I'm really excited to see my idea becoming reality!

Wow, I completely forgot that I had even started this post, all of what, 6 years ago? Anyway my mission to find it was a success! I found it at a local game store about a month ago that sells older game like these and the such. I paid a whopping $125 for it but I'm pretty sure that beats most of the prices on ebay or amazon. Good news was that it came with everything; the case, the game manual, the game, and the legends 2 demo disc. As a famous spotter once said, "Mission Complete!!!"

Airship 1: Luxery Cruise Liner Description: This is a massive cruise ship for those that want to get away on vacations. The top deck contains an outdoor pool and a main floor deck It's mainly used for recreational purposes and the design is based off old cruise ships from thousands of years former. It's rumored to have inspired a ship that the rich Von Bluecher is working on. luxery cruise linerAirship 2: Air Racer Description: These small ships are perfect for the sport known as Skye Racing. These ships are small and agile. Numerous ones can be seen flying in the sky all at one time. This sport is really popular and can be really dangerous too. Spectators enjoy watching the ships zoom past. The ships themselves are just large enough for one person but produce more speed than traveling airships. Air RacerAirship 3: Personal Transport Description: These ships are a 2 level majesty for those that fly it solo or have a small family/group. The lower level contains enough storage area for a few large cargo containers or other storage needs. Some have been known to be modified with an armor bay and r&d equipment for diggers. The upper level contains the cockpit and a bathroom, kitchen, and living/bedroom. It's not the largest airship but it works for those that need it. Weapons include 2 mini cannons on top and small turrets on each side near the back. These ships also come with an escape unit in case the ship takes too much damage from an attack. PT 1 PT 2 PT 3Airship 4: Fire Patrol Description: What more can I say? This massive airship is designed to put out large fires. I honestly got inspiration from seeing the backpack fire extinguishers from the 2nd game. These ships contain all the necessary equipment for fire fighters to put out any type of blaze including on ships traveling in airspace. Fire Ship
Airship 5: Scaffold Description: This ship isn't too much in the way of inter island travel as it is for doing construction based jobs. The scaffold is considered by most to be a light weight airship. This little thing can hold up to 500 lbs max and can usually be seen when construction crews are working on massive buildings and lugging material around. As for size, it's about 8 feet wide, 14 feet long, and 3.5 feet deep excluding the siding. it has siding about 2 feet high in the front and 4 feet high near the back so materials don't fall out of the ship in transit. One feature this ship contains is an extending platform so that workers can get closer to the building. It doesn't provide any defense (ie Johhny's ship/ barge thing in Legends 2, the one in the collage up at the top of the page).

Painting of Werner Von Bleucher - Painting Description - A large sized picture of Von Bleucher in one of his famous poses. The picture is here just because he's famous. It's been said that Von Bleucher himself donated the picture to the museum. Text box possibility? - This is a picture of the famous Werner Von Bleucher, the richest man in the world. His suit looks nice, but it's not nearly as nice as your's.
Mysterious Symbol - Display Case Item Description - This little symbol has been baffling people for years. It silently floats in mid-air as it spins constantly and slowly in a 360 degree fashion. Scientists once looked into it thinking they found the next big energy source but later decided it was nothing more than a relic and donated it to the museum. It gives off an eerie aura, though.
Ancient Digger Armor - Major Exhibit Description - Ancient digger armor that's really been rusted out and has been through a lot. It looks as old as it is. It's really big and boxy due to which is the power generator on the back. As to how they were used, no one really knows. There are no indications of projectile weapons ever being used/attached (i.e. think of Joe's arm sort of boxiness)
Gorubeshu Shield - Major Exhibit Description - This is the shield of a gold Gorubeshu reaverbot. Normally the ones left over are utterly destroyed, cracked, or blackened beyond care. This one however is in pristine condition and no know use of cleaners was used on it. Whoever got it went through extreme care and risk to achieve it.
Prototype Buster Gun - Display Case Item Description - This is the only know version left of the first buster gun. Expert place this gun to have been invented at some time after the discovered ancient armor. The gun looks to old to function anymore but no one has ever tried to recharge it. Looks like it ran on an external power source.
Kattelox Clozer Woods - Tapestry Description - A large tapestry made depicting the beautiful scenery of the Clozer Woods on the island know as Kattelox. Whoever did this had a lot of skill and time to take in such a natural scene.
Theories of a Ruined City - Display Case Item Description - A well thought out and highly researched book detailing theories surrounding the mysteries of the Kattelox city now known as the Old City. This book details such things as it's possible history, why people stopped living there, and if there is a positive outlook for the future. Co-authored by Kattelox's own librarian and Art the digger. (you guys know who I'm talking about)
