Show off your 3d models related to megaman games. it dosen't matter whether it is work in progress or models having no textures on them. just fill this thread with your 3d modeling skills. i want to tell people who just pass by this thread. eventhough me and josh are making model from mml charactets, it is hard to make nice textures as 3d modeling and texturing are totally different field. we provide according textures from our models to give you the opportunity to edit them and send to its owners(currently josh and me). owners then will post this model with your texture on this thread if they like the textures. so participate show your skill freely.

Looks pretty cool, very differet in terms of its 'facial' design but i actually think it makes it more interesting that way.

Are you sure you want all the models on this thread to be strictly Megaman related? As I recall from the TLT General Discussion thread, part of the reason for starting this thread was that you were posting some non-Megaman related stuff. The thread's title is also a bit ambiguous to that.
Actually, come to think of it, I suppose it would be more appropriate for non-Megaman related material to be on a personal artwork thread rather than a general one like this. It's your choice.

It was moved because it wasn't related to Tuttle's Legendary Travels. I was actually under the impression that they were sample pieces and you were trying out to be a modeler for the game. @_@
Usually we just have individual user galleries--for something like this, a global forum model gallery, I'd actually restrict it to just Legends-related models. This is a Legends forum, after all. Anything non-Legends should really go in a personal artwork thread.

Actually, come to think of it, I suppose it would be more appropriate for non-Megaman related material to be on a personal artwork thread rather than a general one like this. It's your choice. Well, few days ago i posted a screenshot of a robot that has reaverbot eye. so that means it was related to megaman legends because a robot with reaverbot eye can be seen mainly in megaman legends series. i don't know why they treat this robot as non tlt related stuff. but important thing is i'm now satisfied having a thread that covers 3d models. as megaman legends character's concept arts are through out there on the internet. after finishing modeling those, i will consider posting the non megaman related stuffs on this thread. until that time comes, you and me 3d modelers have to practice and improve our 3d modeling skills as we know our skill is not good enough. Looks pretty cool, very differet in terms of its 'facial' design but i actually think it makes it more interesting that way. Facial design is different? i just refered some concept arts. thanks anyway! 2013-3-9 horokko facial design is finished.

...Actually I am an active developer for the game. I may not be that good at texturing, but I can model and rig just about anything. Right now I'm working on the people you will see walking around the towns and ruins and such. Have you been looking through parts of the website other than the forum? Here's a Juraid I modeled for fun a couple weeks ago. I haven't had time to finish the rigging just yet. It could use some wear and tear to make it look less toy-like, but like I said, not great at texturing. This isn't necessarily for TLT, but it might show up. Who knows !

Great modeling. especially the mouth part. the color inside the mouth is black. did you put black color object inside the mouth? or made texture and applied to it? can you upload the texture file on this thread? i want to see how you made unwrap uvw themplate. so that i can learn from your skills. here are the links of textures of my horokko. it's in psd format. so people can browse rayer by rayer to analyze the principle of how i made textures. www.mediafire.com/download.php?gzs6td7sg81s0g8 -head www.mediafire.com/download.php?dklagvetm7djwbi -body Finished the horokko model. my first modeling with full textures.

I actually did the texturing for this in MS Paint because I wasn't on my home computer at the time, lol. It's all one texture, and I simply unwrapped the mouth portion separately from the rest. Since it isn't connected to the rest of the body it gives a sharp change from black to red. The rim around the mouth is a darker red, and is the wide, slightly darker part at the bottom. i.imgur.com/32QNsJ4.jpgYou did a great job on that reaver. It looks spot on. I think zaiy's point about the face was because of the slightly greater color contrast and the vertical lines you had on the first pic. The ones on your last post took care of that though.

Thanks for your texture. i learned how you unwrap the mouth and connected the line top side and left side. i was pretty surprised that you used ms paint to make the texture. the most basic tool in computer.. well, my horokko model has some minor fixes like bottom portion has to be enlarged or the dark circle on its body has to be resized and its color changed. however, this will take just 10~30minutes, so i'm gonna leave it as it is.
alright, now i'm learning the basics most basics of rigging in 3ds max. character without rigging is in my opinion just nothing but a picture. i want my character to move like the same as MML horokko. cheers with your work. and thanks for your compliment.
by the way i wonder how are you going to rig the wings?

Here's a picture of the rig. I haven't put any constraints on the bones yet. As you could guess, I will lock all rotation on the legs and lock all but one axis on the waist and wing/arm/ear thingies. I will probably add another bone around the arms and make all of the arm bones copy it's rotation. That will cause every joint to move at the same angle simultaneously so I don't have to worry about moving each individual bone on its own.

Nice rigging. i want to see it moving the same as the game. if you have time, post on the youtube to make people view your work. I'm currently working on another reaverbot i don't know the name of. I think i don't have time for learning animation or rigging except friday and saturday and sunday. but i have little time for modeling. Attachments:

That reaverbot is the winner of MML3's Reaverbot Event, Calamity! It will be nice to see it in 3D when it's done.
Oh and good work on all these models guys. They are fairly top notch and I hope you keep it up!

fAB just added a new page to the Sky Pirate Arcade's game resources section. If you like this thread, I think you would enjoy taking a look at it. that's a good news. thanks for telling me josh. i noticed every models posted on there are fully rigged. but i don't have right now skills to put bones and adding constraints. so josh would you mind helping me to make my model rigged? i will be happy my horokko is posted on that site as my precious time is devoted. talking about the "calamity" i made some minor changes to the model. making straight lines with unifom scale was the most difficult part. i spend 5 days to think of solution for the arrangement of unwrap uvw. but i made it ! here is the model picture and it might look a little bit blocky, but i can add some edges throughout its body as this model just only contains 599 polys. 1000~2000 poly is the limit right? and i think i will create a thread to post our textures to make people modify and creat nice textures. as we know making textures are tedious jobs and it will make us delayed on our making on 3d models. so what do you think is it good idea?
