So, didja hear that in Wreck-It Ralph, Dr Wily and Tron Bonne with her MvC Gustaff are going to be in it? If you haven't, good. You were spared finding out for yourself that Crapcom had them removed without reason. And that they were replaced by some random generic ninja who isn't from any game in particular. Thanks, Crapcom. Thanks a whole f*cking bunch.

I see the Capcom situation as something like this:
They've tried to please Megaman fans for the longest time. They've managed to do it a few times, with games like Megaman 9 and 10, returning the Classic series to its roots as an 8-bit shooting platformer. Megaman X8 was their attempt to make up for the beast that should not be, Megaman X7, and it worked... sort of. And the Star Force and ZX series were attempts to please the Battle Network and Megaman Zero fans. But, by the time Megaman Legends fans had their turn to be pleased, Capcom had grown tired of the whole thing, and wanted to shift its focus onto its other flagship titles.
So, we get the shaft, while the other fans--fans of Stret Fighter, Resident Evil, MAHVEL BAYBEE--they get their games and their recognition now. It's nothing for us to really be pissed off about, it's just how Capcom's decided to treat us. It's wrong, yeah, and they should treat all of us a bit more decently and equally, but that's just the way it is.
It's unfortunate that this had to happen during Megaman's 25th Birthday, and that what we get in return is a shoddy iOS game, but Capcom's gonna be Capcom, and there's really nothing we can do short of not buying anything Capcom shells out, and all that will do is give them more of a reason not only to not try hard enough to please us, but potentially close down the Megaman franchise for good.
There is, however, a chance this will pass; a chance that Capcom might think twice about what they're doing in a couple years, after they've grown tired of giving Megaman fans the shaft, and finally give us the things we really want with enough heart and soul put in them to make them as classy and as wonderful as we remember them to be. All I'm saying is, at least give Capcom some more time, and then pass angry judgement upon them if they still don't live up to our expectations. We're adults, not petulant raging neckbearded children from /v/; we've waited this long, we can wait a bit longer, right?

Ugh. I'm sick of this. You know my idea? Once I get the metal to finish my Volnutt cosplay, I'm gonna bash it up with a hammer, keyscratch it, cover it with ash and soot, then get myself a bloody cheek. After that, get some tickets to Japan and sit outside of CoJ HQ with a sign that reads...
カプコンは、私にはこれをしなかった。ミー·トゥ·ザ·ムーン下車し、私は再び幸せになるでしょう。
Can't read Kanji? Here, have some Romanji.
Kapukon wa, watashiniha kore o shinakatta.Mī· to~u· za· mūn gesha shi, watashi wa futatabi shiawase ni narudeshou.
Edit: Ran this through Google Translate, and it came out broken. Bowen says "Let there be English."
Capcom did this to me. Get me off the moon, and I'll be happy once more.

Thanks a whole f*cking bunch. Thanks for sparing me the agony. It helps a lot.I don't really get it. Sure, Capcom might be getting tired of having please MML fans and others who are fans of the Megaman franchise as a whole, but why the hell would they replace them with a random ninja character? Dr. Wily and Tron Bonne would've been interesting to see! EDIT:The rest is still relevant

I like how you also spared us from having any source at all. And then I went and Googled it, and couldn't find any source. Then I checked the major MegaMan news sites, and there was nothing. So, where exactly did you get this information? GameFAQs? 4Chan? GetMeOffTheMoon? How do you say “Citation Needed” in Japanese? Show me a source that ever said Tron was in the movie. This is the first I've heard of that at all. Then show me a source that says Wily's not in the movie that isn't just based on a 2-minute trailer that happened not to feature Wily.. Then show me a source that the decision was even Capcom's.

"Youshutten" (phonetic: yo-shoo-tten); basically means it needs a source/citation.

I believe this would be a better place to discuss a plan like that. Also, I agree with Pitch. You haven't posted any source whatsoever. Even if Wily (and possibly Tron) was removed, your argument of Capcom being the ones behind it is purely circumstantial. I'll admit, they have been screwing around with the Mega Man franchise lately, but that doesn't mean you can go jumping the gun like that and pointing fingers.

I remember it being on GameFAQs somewhere. I just have to find the source, because this phone's memory sucks. Edit: Found it in my History, but it 404'd on me. I'll look again to see if anybody copied the original thread. All I remember is that she was supposed to show in the Game Terminal. But I did find this for Wily. Just gotta find that Tron thread.

...That's it? That's supposed to be evidence? :37:
Bowen, that entire article was merely conjecture. And somehow, I don't see a GameFAQs thread to be a terribly reliable source, considering the circumstances. Not much reason to get all worked up towards Capcom.

Look, I'm trying to find the original thread. It had screenshots and everything, but it's not my fault the link went missing. As for the blame, who else would cut them besides Capcom? I don't know if there's proof of who did, but really with the current circumstances, who else could it have been?

Okay, so I can understand being angry for Wily. I mean, he's a pretty bad guy. But Tron? Even if what you say is true, Tron is a very minor character from a very minor Mega Man series. Not only that, but she's the worst stereotype you could ever wish for from such an overly anime influenced game such as Legends. Getting worked up from her not appearing in a movie she has nothing to do with? She's not even that popular.
Excuse my way with words, but this. is. FUCKING. RIDICULOUS.

Actually, Tron is one of the better-known characters of the Legends series. Heck, she's been making just as many cameos as other Mega Man characters. I doubt they'd put her in all of those games just to please some sort of pseudo-hipster fanbase, or something.

As for the blame, who else would cut them besides Capcom? I don't know if there's proof of who did, but really with the current circumstances, who else could it have been? Nevermind the part where we skip over the fact that this cut may not even have happened*, the lack of evidence that one of the characters was included at all, and the really questionable evidence that suggested Dr. Wily was ever in the movie** —to answer your question, how about Disney? You know, the people actually making the film in the first place? Nah that can't be right. It obviously makes more sense to assume that Capcom first gave Disney permission to use Wily, then decided to revoke it at the last minute, because they're a twisted, evil company who hates MegaMan. Or they want to get back at Keiji Inafune for leaving. Or something. Yeah. :17: * The assumption that Wily is cut is based on a two minute trailer in which he didn't feature. The assumption that Tron is cut is, as far as I can tell, based on even less.
** It's a really blurry image of a mustachioed, gray haired man in a lab coat. His hair looks nothing like Wily's. Granted, I can't think of anyone else who fits this depiction better, but it doesn't really look like him. Furthermore there was never any officially recognized press about his appearance in this screenshot. It's all been conjecture from fan sites.

Can't tell if aware of the 5-word rule, or not.
Oh, and it was more than likely sarcasm, Bowen. That, or Pitch has a very critical view of Capcom.
