This is going to be one hell of a fight.
Its a real shame that we have to fight for the prototype but Capcom brought this upon themselves.

Guys,
I don't even think the Prototype demo was finished. And after this, they certainly wouldn't think about finishing it.

The Prototype was finished enough to be distributed to select reviewers. There's no reason they couldn't release that much as is.

The Prototype was finished enough to be distributed to select reviewers. I guess I didn't hear about that one... Although perhaps that 'finished' portion was only intended for reviewers, and that they would have wanted to finish more for the general public.

There was a six page article on it in Nintendo Power, and it was written in the article as being complete.

There was a six page article on it in Nintendo Power, and it was written in the article as being complete. Good point there too... I didn't even read the article back then, since I figured it was news I already knew. Alright, I take it back, but I doubt it's finished enough to be released, especially now.

Whatever the case is, the way Capcom handled this project was unethical and unprofessional, and we need to do something about it. This hasn't just affected this core fandom. It's been buzzing all over the place all night. Capcom is seriously in the wrong here.

Lets arm ourselves with what we know how to do we need multiple legends marathons out there on the internet we need legends related things coming up on all websites like avatar signatures quotes anything to be recognized. Get friends family anyone that hasn't already played the game to try it and join this cause.
Id say spam things but spam is always just looked down on so I'm questioning that.
Also youtube videos could help to if everyone just started doing their own "Let's Play" videos of the game.
The more we can spread of this everywhere the faster it can get popular much like anything on the internet.

I'll say this,
It's not just Legends that Capcom needs to be pestered about, but Mega Man as a whole. This wasn't the first MM-related disappointment that I have faced from Capcom. (MMU wasn't one of them because I didn't care so much about it, but there were obviously others who were disappointed by it.) Capcom just doesn't care about the franchise anymore.
...And in some ways, maybe the franchise is kinda better off being dead, now that Capcom has been handling it very poorly. And yet I feel that there's still some things they should do with it before that. But then again, Capcom has being failing to handle the franchise properly.
I bet Dr. Regal from TMMN is having a hay-day about this somewhere...

I kind of have to agree that Megaman should just die(or at least pass out Capcom's hands) too. Considering it's treatment as of late. Though I will admit that what we've seen of the prototype actually looked good from the "lighthearted action/adventure genre" perspective to me and not just the "oh my god, it's the sequel to my favorite game series" perspective. So they actually had something good going there. Unlike MMU which many people saw many problems with.
I wish the Devteam would join Inafune and pull a Lucas Arts --> Telltalle games thing in response to this but that's just very wishful thinking.
