Where is that? I know I've been in there, like, once before, but I don't remember how to get to it. XD
Also, someone mentioned the promotional posters on another board. So I got an idea. I've got a couple of locally owned gamestores in my area, why not get 'em some posters to put up in their windows? I know at least two of them would definitely do it. This needs to be public. Not just the internet, but real life, too. People could go in and ask about Legends 3, and then they can explain the current situation to them. I'm constantly running into other Legends fans in the area, I just never knew there were so many until I end up talking to them in game stores, during tournaments, midnight releases, and other events.

what a horrible way and time for me to be introduced to you all
Dashe, I appreciate you inviting me here, and I do sincerely hope that this may help revive the project some how
but in all honesty, I simply feel sick right now after hearing this news and I really just don't want to be conscious right now.
Perhaps I'll feel like joining in tomorrow

Sending Capcom letters will never ever help our situation, but I'm going to do it anyway. I think they need to know how we feel, and let the dying breath of MegaMan Legends 3 be a firey one.

To Ingwaz...I feel the way you do...on Deviantart I'm in the MML group, and someone has already submitted a 'artwork' about it, i X-ed out of the submission noticing saying to myself "either support the revive or shuddap"
But going to sleep wont change anything by the time you wake up...that is the essence of horror.
to those saying Crapcom: Capcom has done us a horrible blow...
I may disfavor them now, but i must quote Jun from halo reach: "I kill the enemy, but do not hate them" - For me this means: Capcom is still the production company behind MML1&2 I will maintain my fandoms they own, but I will go no farther into them without MML3 ---Ie: i boycott SF 4 and beyond but will still play what SF i do own & i will still play TVC and MVC but on the side that is Megaman or non-capcom
What good are we, who feel insulted, should we stoop to petty mal-naming insults as well, this may be a war...but it is simply a war between groups, not names.
I am a zealot to this cause, while i may not be capable of much i must do something.

I just thought I'd post what I did over at the devroom. I'm quite frankly, incredibly disappointed and frustrated right now. I've been a large Megaman fan since around age 4 and a Legends fans since the beginnings of the first game's release when I was 8 or 9. I've loved a lot of other things Capcom has done as well. D&D: Shadows over Mystara, Ace Attorney, Onimusha, Resident Evil, Viewtiful Joe, Final Fight, Breath of Fire, Darkstalkers, Street Fighter, the VS series, Ghouls n' Ghosts, U. N. Squadron, 1942, Okami, Monster Hunter, Lost Planet, DmC and others I'm probably spacing....heck I even liked their Darkwing Duck and Duck Tales games for the NES! But if I had to pick one franchise among Capcoms line-up that I loved the most, it would be Megaman. And if I had to pick one series among that, it would be Legends. And if I had to pick one game from that series...well, let's just say that I was slowly beginning to believe I would pick MML3 one day. Especially since I got to see first-hand it's development process and the amount of love and heart the Developers were putting into the game, and how much us fans worked to be involved in the process and later to just get a straight answer from the bastards in charge. Needless to say, I'm done with Capcom for a while. They have been frequently dissapointing me as of late. But in no field more than Megaman. Hell, this whole thing practically followed the exact same cancellation process as MMU. No news for a time(much shorter here, though, and at least some stuff came in, just nothing relevant), the game being pulled from the main site, and finally cancellation. If a game of theirs comes a long that I must need, I just might consider buying it used at a later date. I don't want to be Capcom's customer right now. Anyway, as the topic is most likely locked. I'll post what I had to say in the goodbye thread started recently. This is goodbye for me. I doubt I'll be so petty and filled with rage to never give Capcom another chance. But right now, they aren't getting any support from me for quite a long time. I had already surmised something akin to this fairly recently and have joined MMLS a short while ago to settle in. Though I didn't expect a full cancellation, or at the very least, this soon. I very rarely join and actively participate in forums. This, believe it or not, was actually the first one. A game I loved possibly being continued and the very idea of what the devroom was greatly intrigued me and I wanted to show my support and participate as best as I can. Anyway, hugs all around. This board has had it's ups and downs, it's dramas and idiots, and has been hit with the brunt end of a very underhanded executive move. But I've met a lot of awesome people here and I hope some of you find your way to MMLS or other some such site. I doubt any of us are Capcom fans right now, but all of us are probably still Legends fans. For those who go their separate ways, it was nice meeting you. I've been a large Capcom fan since the very beginning of my childhood. They used to be a company who could make franchise games like Duck Tales and Aladdin and have them be actually enjoyable, make some of the greatest 8-bit tunes I ever heard, and produced my greatest childhood hero ever. They codified and set the bar for the side-scrolling beat em' up genre with final fight and D&D and did the same for the fighting genre. There's so much more good I can say about Capcom, too. But it's all on the past, distant and recent, and their future looks terrible. I sincerely don't want to give up on them and universally hate them, but I'm coming very close to doing so, I certainly do right now, caught up in a moment that has betrayed me quite a lot. Count me in on this, I'll send a letter to each listed recipient if I have to. Just give me a day or so to calm down. Let the rage subside and have the melancholy settle in. As angry as I am right now, I'd like to write a letter that encourages them to release at the very least the prototype(they owe us that much, besides, it was supposed to be finished before they delayed it for "fine-tuning"), rather than a hate-filled letter that spews about how terrible they're running their once great company and once great franchise into the ground.

Hey I just had a thought.
It was Capcom of Japan that was developing Legends 3, and therefore were the ones to cancel it. Most of the hate mail would probably go to Capcom of America, and they can't really do anything because they weren't really the ones to cancel Legends 3, CoJ did. And most English speaking people cannot really translate into Japanese, can they, let alone hundreds of letters at a time.
So... perhaps the rallying is even more pointless...

If we are going to make any impact in this war, we must hit them on all fronts. The first rule of battle is: Cut. "Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut with certainty. Cut decisively, resolutely. Cut into his strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't allow him a breath. Crush him. Cut him without mercy to the depths of his spirit. It is the balance to life: death." For us to make any difference, we must wound Capcom, even with small wounds, until they bleed out and must relent. Dashe, I would suggest another Youtube video, in the vein of your video on your excitement about the announcement of the Project. We should all try to get people to see that. I've taken the liberty of setting up a facebook page entitled "Legends Never Die". Without a strong presence on Facebook, I doubt we'd ever make a difference. Find it here. Fan work and things are great to send in too. Any other ideas are welcome. We are here to cut. We'll bleed their resolve to death.

Nah, I think this is where the cause for bringing MML3 back is better than getting games like The Last Story translated.
CoJ is going to be subject to the same hate, from Japanese fans. They are all raging just like us right now and if we both create a big enough storm for Capcom as a whole. Then... I still doubt it will do anything, but it will make a bigger impact.

i realize simply going to sleep will not change anything,
but as it is right now, i am so angry and upset and disappionted that i've hit the piont where right now, I feel absolutely nothing, i cant think of anythign barring the revival of the project that will make me happy for right now.
I've hit that horribly emo phase where I am simply dead to the world, I am in complete and utter disbelief. and I simply do not want to have to be here/conscious right now

It's obvious that the Japanese fans would have a little more of an impact, but as I've already stated numerous times, any form of rallying, hate mail or boycotting wouldn't do a thing.

dr. jerk
I think that mailing in letters of our anger and disappointment with the express expectations that we want our sentiments passed on to capcom of japan is a good idea actually.
While I wouldnt expect them to translate all of them, or even 10% of them, if they receive say 1000 letters from different people, thats a lot of upset people and would hopefully help show capcom how badly we wanted this
