They never even gave it a chance, quite shocked and ticked. I kinda hope those people on the devroom will begin that rant/tantrum they promised.

My jaw has hit the floor. I suspected it was coming, but I honestly thought we had more time. I just... I don't know what to say.

So I'm too busy crying to make a proper response. Hopefully by the time I stop I'll be able to think straight without saying anything I'll regret.

Okay Please Mind I am going to be very 'Foul' for my limtis.
Those F'ing Dimrots!*
I'm now very PO'ed* to the point to where something in a game i play must suffer a horrid excruciation attack!
LEGENDS NEVER DIE CONTINUE ON THROUGH THE DARK SKIES! Maybe we can convince them even with this bad news!
* - Please note, while these phrases mean one meaning to you, to me they mean another, ie: PO'ed may mean one phrase to you, but to/from me, means Pretty Outraged, then phonetic use is similar but more modest )

All the more reason to flood their mailboxes with snail mail. The least those jerks could do was give the game a chance to prove itself on the actual market.

So then, I assume the plan is to regroup with protodude and keep the operation going as scheduled?
I can't even say anything.. but this should not go uncontested... I fear some people will to go war on CU, very soon..

SOON?
Sorry Raven, but you're a few months late: THE WAR BEGAN WHEN THEY DIDNT GREENLIGHT IT!

Yes, operation's still on with new meaning and a lot more reason to not be confused over it. We will remain persistent for as long as it takes, until we get the Prototype and that Prototype has a chance to prove its worth where it needs to.

Yeah, canceling it without launching the prototype was total BS. Their press release was total crap as well. At least have the fortitude to tell us why it was canceled, this "it didn't meet some nebulous and undefined criteria" just doesn't cut it. The execs didn't want to make the game from the start and I personally will not buy a Capcom game again (I know most people who will say this in the Devroom will recant on it but I plan to stick to it). I did (as everyone on this site has also done) just about everything a fan could be expected to do. I got people to join the devroom and enter events, I talked it up on other sites; the failing can not be pinned on the fans (except maybe there were not enough of them for Capcom's taste).
I feel that I have been lied to and that my time creating ideas for the game was wasted (most of which I knew stood no chance of being accepted but I just wanted to show my support for the game).
But what the heck, sure I'll still mail in a letter; it will have a much less happy more pissed tone though.

Welp, that is pretty much the kick in the chin. You would think that the dev team themselves would have obtained the right to tell us the bad news. I really must say that Capcom has reached a very new low.
I'm angry at the moment. Once I have settled down, I'll take the mail thing in consideration.

Until we get the Prototype? NO....
UNTIL WE HAVE MML3 IN OUR HANDS!
As you can see I'm not happy!

Be sure and mention they made a MMLS mod cry. That'll kick 'em right back where it hurts, provided they even have such a target to begin with.
Forget not buying a capcom game again...I'll never buy a video game again at all! I wasn't a gamer anyway!

... the failing can not be pinned on the fans (except maybe there were not enough of them for Capcom's taste). For this reason, I think the Legends Never Die campaign is a bit pointless now. There's no way it will match the numbers (i.e., every person in the Devroom participates) the Devroom had, and the Devroom wasn't impressive enough. I dunno. We've gotta do something, but I think it's too little too late, really. :21: I'd settle for just the Prototype at this point. I have no idea why they're withholding that. I really think we deserve at least that much for hanging in there all this time. (Although I still half-suspect that the e-Shop couldn't host the Prototype anyway.)
