Whatever it is, it'll probably leak faster than Unity can catch up with it.

While I'm quite sure the silhouette is of Aero's partner, I keep looking at the picture and thinking that it looks like a younger Akuma. A street fighter cameo would be pretty interesting IMO.
Point is, he died before the events of the X series. Presumably by old age. Back on topic? But... But... What about Isoc? He hated X and for whatever reason knows Zero inside out...
Wily's body is gone, but he's very much active in the X series. He's cheating death through some means (be it as a virus or otherwise), having orchestrated a few events as Serges and Isoc, as well as conspiring with Sigma on a couple of occasions. He hasn't been seen since X6, so we don't really know what he's up to, if he's even still around. He did show up again in TvC's ending, if you want to count that too.

I'll get to look up the news tomorrow in school—this will be so cash if it's what I think it is. Feel free to get a post in this thread detailing the unveiling.

That's good to hear that this website (a Forum) isn't being blocked by a school filter. I remember my highschool not even allowing teachertube to be allowed on our network, let alone social networking sites.

I was thinking there was something off about Pitch's calculations since I'm in Central Time and an hour behind him, but I had to factor in DST and the fact I'm in a part of the world that ignores it. It gets confusing because depending on who you ask, it's the time zones that move with DST so they say I'm in CST half the year and MST the other, but now according to the world clock I'm in CST all year round and it's everyone else that turns into CDT in summer...basically I'm just always going to hate converting time.
Anyway yeah, it's about 7 hours from now until the start of the broadcast, which turns out is going to be on NicoNico, so anyone who wants to get up in time to watch tomorrow morning should make sure they have an account for it. I've got mine and that's about the time I have to wake up anyway so I might as well see if I can tune in.
Not going to make any guesses at al going in though, and frankly I'm disappointed so many people are playing at such a shallow speculation game. The silhouette isn't recognizable enough to be anyone specific (Glyde is a stretch, admit it), and the only other clues we have are what the development has led us to expect, for which the list starts and ends at "member of Aero's digging team". Other than that it could be anybody, and those are the guesses everyone is bothering to fill up the thread with. I'd rather go off-topic and discuss the comic invincibility of villains in these games some more.

Otherwise, we'll know who to blame.

I was thinking there was something off about Pitch's calculations since I'm in Central Time and an hour behind him, but I had to factor in DST and the fact I'm in a part of the world that ignores it. ... huh. That's why I put in the timezones and their offsets in my post. I guess it wasn't enough, though. Sorry for the confusion. Zero was what popped into my mind when I first saw the silhouette, too. But I have severe doubts they'd do that in any case. I wouldn't mind it though. Either way, I'm probably going to sleep through this reveal. If it is Zero, I bet I wake up to find 300 posts complaining about it. :06: (Just in case: It's OK guys. It's OK. ∗ insert other reassuring sentiments here ∗) As far as other speculations go, I've got nothing. It doesn't look like anything I've seen. (I can kind of see where people are getting Glyde, but only so much.) Anything else I'd come up with would be completely out of the blue. If you want something that's totally random and out there, then I submit to you that this character is . . . Osh.

Well, I'm thinking I won't get the answers live after all. The broadcast seems to be a general newscast, not just about DASH3. After a few minutes of watching, Nico would stop the video with a pop up telling me to get a Premium Membership. It seems to have resumed now, but they're just playing some game that isn't DASH. They may have mentioned the new character back at the beginning but didn't show any pictures or anything. All I noticed was the name "Aeris" plus a lot of commentors talking about various FF7 characters, so I may have been listening to the wrong thing altogether. Now I have to get ready for work, so I guess I'll be finding out the full story later on like everyone else.

No news from the Dev Room, yet... Dashe: Saw your faux-reaction. That would sum up that kind of notion nicely. I had this in mind when I thought of the possiblilty:

I managed to tune in around 8AM (1 hour into the presentation). I don't see anything resembling Rockman DASH 3. I'm thinking I either missed it, or it's not going to be shown 'til the very end of this. I've been watching for about half an hour now. TBPH, I don't think I'm interested enough to watch much longer. I think I'm just gonna wait to hear about this like a normal person. :37:

I'm noticing the pattern with NicoNicoLive now. Game trailer shown, developers introduced, hands-on gameplay demo, interview with the developers, commercial for the game, then repeat with the next game. Each game coverage takes about 40 minutes. So far they've done this for some iPhone game with trains, then El Shaddai, and now Gachitora. At the top of the page, DASH is listed as the last keyword right after Gachitora. At this rate, it looks like the DASH coverage will begin in 25 minutes, which is right when I have to be at work...and two hours after I was led to believe I was supposed to tune in. Basically, I'm feeling jerked around. On the plus side, whoever does catch the DASH part of the broadcast might be treated to about 20 minutes of actual gameplay footage.

:25::21:Yeahp. Looks like they're starting now. They seem to just be talking about the series/sequel/devroom at the moment, so maybe if you hurry you can hop on before they start revealing new content! EDIT: They're talking about the Reaverbot event now. I think they may've briefly mentioned Seeteufel. They scrolled past it anyway. I think they're showing some kind of trailer now. If you can make it get online now! EDIT: Well that was quick. Let's put those fears to rest. This is not Zero. I've got more I'll put up when it's done, but from the look of it, this is a playable character. o__o; And that bike we saw before is his. Shame, I was hoping that was Roll's or Tron's. EDIT: Gameplay footage. It's happening now! (And it's all this new character.)

I wonder if this will be the Roxas before the Sora arrives.
Very appealing character to me. I'm just merely concerned about how much spotlight of playability he is going to receive over our hero.

I think the fact that it's not Zero deserves a little bit of good cheer, so.... Now that I'm seeing it, I'm liking the design more and more. The fact that he's a redhead is a plus for me, you don't see a lot of them in games, these days.. I'm thinking his personalty might be of the the kind that likes excitement, but we won't know for sure until later..
