I think 11% percent is pretty descent for this point in time. I think that the percent in which the rocket development rises will be small some months and large in other months.. Tron being angry with her "kids" on the wallpaper seems fitting to me It's Tron, who has a huge temper/anger issues, and I think it's cute especially since you know she has a hidden soft side... for Mega Man in particular

Honestly I think the rocket just represents how much of the Devroom stuff they have planned is over. If I'm correct, we should have like 18 more events coming!

Our jump to 13% is apparently all about the drive to get to 10000 members. At about 8700, we're not quite as close as they implied at the start of the Servbot Festival. We really ought to get more western fans to register just so we can stop lagging so far behind Japan.
It sounds like the relatively small registry over here may be Unity's fault for their interface causing so many technical problems. We'd probably have at least a few more MMLS Servbots over there if they could just get the button to appear where it's supposed to.

So at 13% we have 3 servbots being punished? I wonder if this is refering to capcom staff. Nah couldn't be, could it? Capcom Unity does need some fixes.

This totally throws off my 16th-of-the-month theory. They're about a week off this time. If there's another update for February consider said theory shot.
....Waaaaitaminute. Once they hit 10k, rocket progress will increase significantly...? Sounds like the real devs are farther along with the game than anticipated.

Well that's what you get for thinking there was any rhyme or reason to the rocket gauge other than "goes up as project progresses".
It's interesting they would link the rocket progress to something as purely PR-related as number of members. Those 10000 don't really have to do anything, they just have to be there to reassure Capcom that the game is going to sell decently for all the trouble they put into it.

The way the Gauge is rising is making me wonder if the percentage signifies the completion of the game, meaning that once that gauge actually hits 100%, the release date will be here or very close to so.
Is it me or is this gauge rising a bit too fast than anticipated?

I honestly don't think it's rising all that fast. It looks about right to me. They could "in theory" be generating the areas as we speak, working "tirelessly" to avoid dissapointing us, but honestly, it's pretty silly how they're doing 5% one day then 2% the next. I think the average increase says it all.

Maybe that's why they updated the rocket early--they'd projected they would reach 10k registered Servbots by the normal update window, so they put one out early promising a further boost once they hit 10k. It makes sense considering the update they did make was about half what we're used to.

If the Japanese side's Servbot signoff pun is any indication, they were actually shooting for about 690,000, it's supposedly just because their indicated reading for that number rhymes with "Rockman", but it seems to be they could have the same pun with a more modest (and at this point realistic) 60,000. They're pretty much stuck with that number now though.

690,000...posts? Or Servbots...? This game will never reach completion if 690,000 Servbots are required to proceed with the next upgrade.

690,000 people. Like I said though, it's not an actual goal so much as a cute pun. It's what the Japanese Rocket Gauge reports have in place of English version's "Megamaniacs wanted for a project of Legendary proportions!", theirs says something like "690,000 (Rockman) people wanted to build this rocket!"

Oh, okay! Phew! You had me worried there for a second, I was gonna cash in on my MMLS Pension Plan early!

To elaborate a little more on that because why not: rockman-dash3.daletto.com/rocket/I noticed the image where the Servbots are saying that has their line as associated text I could copy and paste into a translator. It literally says "Seeking participants! The 690,000 people of the Rocket Development Project!" "690,000" in Japanese is normally read as "roku juu kyuu man". But above that in the image is furigana that reads "rokkuman". Furigana, or "tiny Japanese text printed above other Japanese text" is sometimes used to indicate which of a kanji's vague or obscure readings you're supposed to use, or in this case just make shit up (unless there's some weird rule in Japanese I'm not aware of that lets people shorten "rokujuukyuu" to "rokku"). So the pun indicates they're not just looking for a ridiculous amount of participants, but ROCKMEN.
