Nice! I actually didn't think it would go up for a while!

Why does the rocket have 28 on it! Does that mean that between the end of MML2 they've already built and crashed like 17 more rockets! Just how fast can those girls build rockets anyway!?

Just how fast can those girls build rockets anyway!? Well, they'd built ten in the time it took to switch scenes from MegaMan, Yuna and Sera (and Matilda) on Elysium... (Each rocket symbolic for one of the years we'd have to wait? ...nah.) If they're only at 28 now, they must've really slowed down! That, or they've completely run out of funds. Maybe 28 has some special meaning.. probably not, but maybe. Then again, I wonder how long it really takes Tron or Roll to build anything. ; Nice! I actually didn't think it would go up for a while! Yeah, me too. I thought they'd completely forgotten about it. >__< ( like some other things) I was beginning to think that would sit at 1% forever until one day it just jumped right up to 100%... Nice to know they actually intend to use that to gauge progress with the Legends 3 project. I want to see what Tron's so-called “Winter outfit” is supposed to look like. It looks cool. Not that it's even the same thing, but look what popped up over at The Reploid Research Lavatory today. EDIT: Aaah... this Twitter background is messy. They should've had the Kobuns stacked vertically along the left-hand side instead of across the top. And the DASH 3 Project logo only fits on the old Twitter layout; it's nearly completely covered by the page on the new one. >__< Ah well, I'm still using it. YE EDIT-EDIT: Oh hey, btw, for anyone who couldn't get to that page on the Japanese Devroom, Megaman Network also posted the audio clips for you to listen to, complete with a nice translation! I must've missed it yesterday.. >.< ∗ mutters something about ninja edits ∗ It's nothing terribly interesting, but I thought it was pretty cool. Now how do I get these into my mml3 folder...? EDIT: Got it. ^_^

This is cool. I expected the rise to be less since game developing takes a while to do. Still, 5%? As long as servbots doesn't mess up and the progress bar doesn't go backward, it's sweet. As for Aero, Tron and Roll being friends, I guess Tron and Roll had to start getting along to get some work done... but the moment Mega Man is back on Terra, all hell breaks loose in-between those two. EDIT: Why do I have the feeling that Sephira/Aero will be the spotter for a character that we will control through a tutorial chapter? You know, like Roll and the Bonnes are almost done with the rocket but need one last thing to get it and the Bonnes encounter Sephira's team while they were out to search it? I dunno, the last line makes me think that she's spotting for someone else because that's a quote Mega Man wouldn't agree too (unless he's DARK! ).

It's been pretty well established since the heroine contest that Aero is a spotter for a different group of Diggers. kobun20.interordi.com/2010/10/10/newest-legends-character-lilly/It's pretty clear that the blank name couldn't refer to Mega Man, and this line. “We’ll pu~lverize those two teams!”Makes me think that the other two teams are Mega Man/Roll and the Bonnes. Given the Digger culture of the island that seems to be where the majority of the game takes place, it makes sense. As for needing someone else for a tutorial mission, I dunno, since as sad as it may be, I'm getting the vibe that they are going to save Mega Man and get all that stuff over with before game play even starts. Which sucks since that'll be pretty rushed. I hope not though, and playing another Digger wouldn't be that bad, since it seems like Aero's team will get major screen time.

This is cool. I expected the rise to be less since game developing takes a while to do. Seriously? I was expecting a huge boost, since the meter came around after a couple events had already passed. I'm wondering if it's going to move the same amount after each event; we could be in this for a long while... This is exactly how I'm hoping it happens. No time wasted: just get it out of the way and go straight back to the formula that works. ^_^ With whatever wacky reason they can come up with. ( We had a pretty cool idea for that, a while back — doesn't account for Aero, though) I'm thinking there's probably going to be a section with Aero's team playable, too, but maybe not in the very beginning. It's practically impossible for me to track down now, but around the time Legends 3 was first announced there were some (incredibly vague) suggestions that other characters might be playable, but it didn't sound like Roll or Tron. Then when they announced the heroine poll, I had a feeling that would be the one, but still... it's just a feeling. >__< Aero's last quote there surprised me too. Hah. As for needing someone else for a tutorial mission, I dunno, since as sad as it may be, I'm getting the vibe that they are going to save Mega Man and get all that stuff over with before game play even starts. I feel exactly the opposite, really. I never got why people made such a big deal about how MegaMan is supposed to get back. That feels like a very minor detail; I wouldn't want a large portion of the game to be devoted to it, personally.. In the beginning of the Legends 3 Project, with all the talk of rocketships and metaphors, I was worried that the whole game might just be devoted to getting MegaMan back, which in my opinion would suck quite hard. (Game-wise... story-wise, they probably could do some pretty interesting things with it.)

I wonder...looking at that first line from Heat's translations, it sounds like there's a good chance Aero might be spotting for her dad. Or at least on the same digging team as her dad. That actually sounds like it could be pretty neat!

Meh, I kind of agree, since overall the game can just start with the ship taking off, which will likely be the case given the goal of the Devrooms are to build the rocket. I just kind of hoped we'd see some character development at the start, see Roll become a bit more independent after being on her own, Tron and Roll's rivalry mature (Which up to the end of MML2 was just a one-sided hate of Roll by Tron).
And honestly, My very ideal way to start the game would have been Roll and Tron in the Gustaff going through Elysium to get to Mega Man. Kind of making Tron's controls with the Gustaff identical to Mega Man's controls to act as the tutorial. But that was always a long shot =/
As for the Rocket Gauge, I assume it'll take about a year or more before the game is out in Japan, so that means around 12 more updates to the thing. (Since it's one a month).

Ah yeah, the character development bit was the main thing I was getting at. With regard to the storyline, MegaMan being stranded for most of the game could have some cool opportunities for the supporting cast to shine in the character development department. (And despite what some people might say, I still think the supporting cast has always shone brighter than MegaMan, anyway.. :22:) But it wouldn't make for a very good MegaMan game, if MegaMan spends quite as much time out of the picture. >__< Hah. Oh, but Roll totally hates Tron too. You can see it in her diary, and infer all kinds of things between the lines in the game. xD It's not a one-sided hate of Roll by Tron by any means. But at this rate, each event scarcely accounted for a single percent. Twelve more events would only put as at 17%... Hopefully we have some really big events to account for huge percentages. (Although, I thought the Bonne Mech event was pretty frickin' huge, but that barely put a dent in this sucker!) I wonder...looking at that first line from Heat's translations, it sounds like there's a good chance Aero might be spotting for her dad. That'd be cool! Maybe her dad is their team's equivalent Barrel. Except he actually goes on the digs and shows off his skills. It has awesome written all over it.

Oh, look, if you click the rocket, at the very end of the page Servbot 3 says it's going to get a visual update every month (probably around the seventeenth). I think I'm going to do a cap every time it changes from now on and just edit them all into the first post.
I'm actually hoping Aero's dad's the primary digger instead of the...well, father figure of the group. Having the main digger as a younger guy about Mega Man's age (or slightly older) just doesn't sound as cool. That almost sounds like potential Protoman material Or maybe I just have a thing for older men.

Servbot 3 says [the rocket is] going to get a visual update every month (probably around the seventeenth). Oh now that is cool. Odd date to choose for that, but still, very cool. Now we can (maybe) stop watching it for updates so closely... >_< EDIT: Hah. OH. That's actually been there since they first posted this thing. I forgot about that. :37: I totally wouldn't mind a ProtoMan character if it was another digger. Sounds plenty cool to me; I don't really see what the problem is with it. Although truthfully, I could just as easily see Aero's father being a ProtoMan, too. You never know.

My personal theory on Aerosephoroth is that she is your default spotter for the "design your Digger"/Multiplayer mode. Sure, we have no idea if there is a multi-player mode yet, but the example that they had the actresses read seemed to fall in-line with that. Especially the "A Reaverbot is approaching!" There's no real reason for Megaman to be hearing her spot.
I know it's a huge assumption. The lines the actresses read don't have to mean anything at all(her father might not even play into the story either) and even if they did there could be a neat scenario where, through a twist of fate, Aerosephoroth and Megaman had to rely on each other to get through a pickle.

I don't want to see a Protoman. We've got the Bonnes, aren't they enough? The way I see it, Protoman ought to stay in Classic (and EXE) just like the Legends characters have been staying in their own spot in the timeline. We've all probably got our one thing we really, really want for this game, and that's mine. I really think they can get a little more creative than that.
...Design your Digger Multiplayer mode? Darfox, I know you're a conspiracy theorist by nature, but I think that's kind of pushing it. >_> I actually do think somehow she'll wind up spotting for Mega Man from one of the lines in her character summary from way back in the heroine poll (which I can't seem to find right now). Not as a permanent thing, but maybe for a mission or two if something were to happen to Roll (or to her own digger.)

I don't want to see a Protoman. We've got the Bonnes, aren't they enough? Honestly, no. This isn't about them. They're pirates, not diggers. Legends 1 and Legends 2 have a serious lack of diggers that could be filled comfortably by a Protoman-like character (or any other cameo really) without disrupting anything. You're making it more than it has to be. o__o; I bought that argument when it was about keeping out new rivals for MegaMan, but this other digging team will probably be rivals for MegaMan, regardless of whether they feature some sort of cameo or not. My personal theory on Aerosephoroth is that she is your default spotter for the "design your Digger"/Multiplayer mode. Yeah, that seems like more of a dream than a theory. It's a little soon to be making assumptions like that. A lot soon, really. o__o; Especially based on these lines. That's a pretty big jump. I love the idea, don't get me wrong. But unless you've got psychic powers, I'm not buying it yet. XD

Not as a permanent thing, but maybe for a mission or two if something were to happen to Roll (or to her own digger.) Well it mostly comes from the fact that it's Capcom and its a hand-held game, and that usually means a Monster Hunter clone so that has been the running theory. Small details here or there have added to the theory but it's all pure conjecture. I know it's a miracle that I won the Civil War so I'm not pushing my luck :12:. I don't see the multi-player mode as sure thing, only a possible thing. Given the current market in Japan.
