Yeah, I think I like Tron in the third wallpaper better than in the one we got. There've only been two wallpapers so far, but in both of them Tron looks unhappy. (ish) >_< Then again, it's nice that we got a slightly more interesting scene this time, rather than just the three of them standing together. The wallpaper with just Aero looks OK, but if they decide to go that route I'd want to see solo wallpapers of Tron and Roll too. For fairness's sake. (And Yuna. But that goes without saying. And is probably not going to happen) But yeah. Maybe they'll be really cool and ship out the other two wallpapers. You know, for Christmas and all.

You know, I'm hoping we actually get something Yuna related pretty soon, just for you. xD Maybe if you keep mentioning it, it'll come true!
Getting the other two wallpapers would be such a nice Christmas gift...I have to agree with what you said, I also think that the reason I like the third one so much is because of how happy Tron looks. She's displeased in the two we already got, which is fine and everything, but a smile from her is cuter matches the expressions of Roll/Aero better.

LOL That doesn't work when I do it. I'm not Miss Dashe. :37: I'll be crossing my fingers for that, though... Yeah, it seems odd that Tron's expression doesn't match those of the other two. It'd be a hasty generalization for me to say there's a trend there, but I'm beginning to wonder why they're drawing her like that. It's the only complaint I have about either of the wallpapers they've put out. (If you could even call it a complaint, really) It would probably make for more likable wallpapers if they drew a nice happy Tron there. (You know, except for the Tron haters out there — they're probably eating this up.) Feels silly to be concerned already, but it makes me wonder if there's not a reason for it. Does the dev-team have it out for Tron or something? They'd better not!

Looking at the wallpaper it looks like Tron's mad because the servbot fell on her while she was trying to tie her skates.

I doubt the devs really have anything against Tron. : o It's probably meant to serve as a subtle reminder that Tron's still one of the (anti-) villains of the series, even when she's working with the heroes. Plus, it does kinda fit her personality, especially in that second pic where it looks like she's telling off the Servbots.

Yeah, but look at the official art we have so far; there's plenty of nice happy pictures of Tron. It just strikes me as odd that they decide to draw both of these wallpapers with Tron looking frustrated in some way or another. I dunno. I think we need a wallpaper with a smiling Tron and a frustrated Aero and Roll to balance things out now. xD

How about a smiling Tron with a smiling Teisel and a close-as-you-can-get-to-smiling Bon? Honestly, I don't think Tron would be caught dead posing with those other goody-goodies unless it was clearly promotional. No wonder she's miffed. ;P

When you think of Tron do you think of her smiling? I always remember her as yelling and mad, or the 'what's this funny feeling' face.

I hope this percentage moves much faster than this lol. Then again, I want Legends 3 to be the best it can possibly be.

Yeah, I don't want them to rush it. We have waited a really long time just to get a rushed product.

Personally, I prefer that they take as much time as possible to finish as long as they let us keep tabs on the progress.
Software products are normally better as long as the deadlines are not rushed (more finition, more time for quality control, easier enforcement of QA, etc). As long as they progress and they show it, I can wait another year while watching said progress.

Yeah, with a pro team like this keeping such close watch on it, I could actually wait a bit longer if it means a more polished product. Yes, I know very well that isn't like me at all...but the way the team's gone about making a huge public event out of its development, it's best off if they polish it till it's gleaming. The more press the DevRoom gets, the higher people's expectations are going to be for the end result, and if this game flops it could very well kill the series again, this time for good.
Hopefully it won't turn into another Duke Nukem Forever-in-Development now that the game's actually getting worked on, but at least Capcom has a pretty decent track record for finishing what they start, if anything.

HalcyonDays If you read back a little further in this topic, you'll see that's the exact image we were talking about. :37: @topic I'm not particularly concerned about timeframes here. After waiting so long for just the game to be announced, no amount of waiting for the development is likely going to faze me. (So long as the game actually gets made, that is... :01:) I don't think the timeframe will necessarily affect the quality of the game directly. I could see them making the game great if they take a really long time, or if it ends up being released within less than a year or so. They could release the game pretty early without necessarily rushing it; and even if they took an extra long time focusing on development, it could still be a flop. I can see why they'd want to pace themselves with this one and give themselves plenty of time. But I could certainly see the logic in trying for an early 3DS title, too. (I could ramble about that for a long while, but I'll spare you...) As for concerns about them killing the series... I thought they mean to end the series with this game anyway. Is that really a concern? (I'd be sad if they intentionally ended the series, and did it with a bad game, but that's a liiittle different) So long as we get the game and it's as phun as the original games, I'm a happy man. I probably don't expect the rate of the rocket gauge to continue to move along at the slow rate of about 5% per month, though. I think the main reason we didn't see a big boost this month was to build suspense for even bigger future events. (“Whoa, the Bonne Mech Proposal contest barely counted for 4%? They must have some really awesome stuff planned for the future!” — that sort of thing) I'd predict that next month will probably continue the trend with another 5%, and maybe another 5% for February, but after that it's time to get serious. I'm betting on either a few scattered really big boosts between more small ones, or constant boosts that are bigger than 5% from March until whenever the development phase ends.

So far the rocket gauge has risen at approximately 5% per month since the Japanese Dev-Room opened in November. There was a 4% increase in December, and now a 6% increase in January. We are now standing at 11%.
If it continues to increase steadily at the average 5% rate (which I highly doubt it will), the game should be theoretically released in Japan around July 2012.
If it continues to rise incrementally as it just did, gaining 2% each month the gauge increases (even more doubtful, and I'd certainly hope they wouldn't be rushing it that much), Japan would have the game in August of this year.
In other, non-mathematical news, the Servbots on the rocket page are calling Megsy 'Blue Boy' again, instead of 'Blue Man.' Yay.
