You said it in this topic, in as many or fewer words. Roll said they might come back, but I seriously doubt that it would have any major significance in any game now, considering they cleaned out the major refractors, and any threat the Legendary Disaster may've posed. Putting it in the game couldn't possibly do it the justice that Legends 1 did.

What I liked about the first game (and Tron Bonne, because I couldn't go one post without mentioning it) is that the action was confined to a single, self-contained island. The world-spanning in the second game didn't really feel that great. The amount of dungeons was nearly the same, and Kattleox had a whole bunch of secret Ruins that were inter-connected. So, I would like the idea of returning to that sort of setting, a single island or chain of islands.
Also, EVERYONE is an artificial life-form, carbons and Units alike. Some are just constructed differently than the others. Except for the Master, but he's dead---or Barrel, depending on who you ask.

Yeah what he said, legends 2 i think got a bit scrambled by not being able to really focus on one area...well it would be pointless to single out another island...im beginning to see why there is no sequel yet....well anyway i think in legends 3 there should be something to deal with a glitch in the system OR something dangerously wrong with the reaverbots as in a way of them coming onto the surface world and causing HUMUNGO POWER DAMAGE PWNAGE TO THE OOBER MAX TOASTY BREAD! well anyway i was seriouse about those two thoughts for legends 3

Dude, there is nothing left on Kattleox. What could possibly happen on Kattleox? Honestly I understand, everyone liked the one-island concept better, and everybody just loves Kattleox, but there's NOTHING there for a plot. And you've said that already. >_> I don't like repeating myself either .. If you wanna' see Kattelox, play MML1 And aarond, I'll admit that yes, MML2's ruins were not as great as 1's, for they were all strung together in 1, but that didn't turn me off to the game. There were a lot of other things to appreciate too, like the fact that you could lock-on and move simultaneously. And the random battle effect they had going on (Reaverbots suddenly spring out of the ground now, I love it) just sort of reminded me of the key element for an RPG. Random battles like that are just fun. There's also the enhanced graphics, and the fact that they introduced Yuna and Sera to the story (two amazingly great characters) and more Tron scenes. I don't know, maybe it's me, but as far as STORYLINE went, MML1 had it goin', and gameplay would have to go to MML2. Those are my opinions, of course, so you may think differently but yeah. Y'know.

I'd like to see better ruin music...like the Main Gate theme and the song from the Uptown Sub-City.

Ugh, I hate the Main Gate theme song... Those violens... They just LOOP FOREVER. I do like the first ruin's (Mystery Dungeon) song, it was really eerie... And then when you approach the force field and it's making that throbbing sort of sound... so weird... Strange way to start the game, heh. I also liked the Kattelox Ruins song, mainly because there was none. It was just background noise. Echo-ish sound that freaks you out as you progress. I thought it was really weird. Then when I first entered the sewers a long time ago, I expected something to sort of jump out at me abruptly.

my favorite music in the ruins was Clozer Gate....See....i like music that sets a tone...and some people think it is scary but the creepy tone and noises to that them relax me very well...So i play it to where things shake on my desk from Bass but it's actually not that loud at all, just bass turned up alot.

Hah, has anyone seen that episode of Family Guy with Mr. Pewterschmidt, Lois' father, where he lies back in his lounge chair, puts his shades on, and blasts classical orchestral music with a high bass at himself with his super-mega-speakers, simulating a monsoon of some sort? It's great.

I just hope its not cel-shaded or i'll be really pissed. But i would really like if the cut scenes were anime. After i've seen how well they looked on tales of symphonia i would like to see MML3 like that. But that's my opinion.

I don't want to see it cel-shaded either, but if it were to be created for, say, the PS2 or 3, I've got almost no doubt in my mind that that's going to be the style they use. The PSP, on the other hand, allows for the freedom to keep the older style from the previous two games, and since DASH and DASH 2 were re-released for that system, then DASH 3 should technically follow suit.

I will old guy playing video games in the future in other words...I'm kickin' your kids butt's in HALO 57 but that not the point. I could care less if it went cel-shaded because they wanted to look cartoonee anyway but I think graphics from Star Ocean:till the end of time would work perfectly with legends.not too cartoonee or not too realistic.Anime cut scene would be cool too.

I don't mind if they do cel-shading if they do it well (I consider MMX:CM alright), but I'll say again that I hardly think they can do it enough wrong that it won't get a good review from me.
I think that the Reaverbots would definitely look better with the new graphics availabe, but when I try to put Trigger in graphics from FFXII or such... bleh. I really want it to kind of keep an anime-inspired look. I could probably deal with what rage mentioned, like Star Ocean style...

Agreed. Cel-shading isn't all too bad, when done correctly. Has anyone played Dark Cloud: 2? It had EVERY aspect of anime artwork, whilst being done in cel-shading. The animation and graphics in that game are absolutely amazing, however due to its horribly horrific horrid storyline, I wouldn't recommend it. What I absolutely do NOT want to see in MML3, however, are FMVs of any sort (short movie sequences, in which the graphics change entirely from the normal gameplay ones, to highly improved CGI) I'd rather they keep that to games such as FF, God of War, Star Wars games, etc. The thing that I loved about Legends, was that it maintained the EXACT same graphics throughout the entire game. Even during the mini-clips and such, it was still done in the same graphics. I loved that. This enabled the ability to have Trigger shut down reinitialization on Elysium (MML2) with the BLADE ARM, since it was currently equipped onto his right hand ^ ^ (duh? It's me guys, remember? ^ ^) Also, it allowed the movie sequences to show Trigger exactly how you had him, as in if he were eqipped with normal shoes, a helmet, and the Drill Arm, he would appear as such in the clips as well. Unlike other games such as Kingdom Hearts, where suddenly, Sora loses the keychain that he had equipped, and is fighting with the normal Kingdom Key (Wtf? Against Ansem?) I need to stop friggin' rambling in my posts.. I don't know why I get so passionate about things

Radiata stories was really good for not switchin' out on the graphics. Wearing or using other stuff in the sequences reminds me, I hope the next game has a bigger selection of visible customizable parts. That would be really neat. I hope they don't do a collect armor pieces system...
