What do you think MML3'll be like, assuming that Capcom will go along with the project as speculated?
Judging from the abundance of cel-shaded titles from Capcom and the anime-style look of the Legends series, I think they're going to go and cel-shade it like they've been doing to MMX.

Coming from me, I'd predict that the graphics will be better, the gameplay would be a bit more fun, Tron and Roll finally confess to MegaMan how they feel about him, and this time Capcom uses a male voice actor instead of Susan Roman for MegaMan's voice. >_<

And of course, it'll end in a huge cliffhanger leaving Mega Man with the decision of which one to choose! ;D

I don't know about that. I have a feeling this could be the last game in the Legends series. Then again, maybe they will leave us at another cliff hanger.

I think they will improve the graphics, and hopefully get another voice actor for MegaMan. =P

Aye, I agree with the standard speculation that the graphics will be MUCH improved and that we'll have a decent male voice actor for Megaman. I, for one, would love to know just how the ending to MML2 will play into this. Megaman, at that point, is still trapped in Elysium (sp?) with the girls still kinda... at each other. I hope they do a good job of explaining that. There's also the matter of Von Bleucher (When I first played, I was almost CERTAIN he was going to be a bad guy ), Yuna, Sera, and several other characters from MML2, and if they'll make any kind of appearance. There IS one thing I'm concerned about though... at the end of MML, after you hear Bon babuing until the end, you see "To Be Continued..." at the bottom right of the screen. And, by that, we KNEW there had to be a sequel later! I actually first played MML a few months before the sequel came out. Having been psyched by the gameplay of the first, I was eager to see a second one produced. In MML2, after the final scene, if I recall, it says "THE END". ... ...am I the only one who finds that somewhat disconcerting?

Well, I think that Capcom was going to do away with "To Be Continued" stuff and just say "The End" from then on. It's hard to promise a sequel, then not even announce it.

When I saw that it said "The End" I thought that was the end of the Legends Series. But there's so much they could do I don't want to believe it's the last one! And people say they plan to make a MML3 or something.

"Well, I think that Capcom was going to do away with "To Be Continued" stuff and just say "The End" from then on. It's hard to promise a sequel, then not even announce it."
Well, that's a good point. Still, it threw a scare into people, making them think that there was nothing left of the series, as the next post proves:
"When I saw that it said "The End" I thought that was the end of the Legends Series. But there's so much they could do I don't want to believe it's the last one! And people say they plan to make a MML3 or something."
The thing that kept me believing (and still believing, to this day) that there was going to be a sequel was that they left too many loose ends for my taste. The whole thing with Megaman being stuck on Elysium, "Joe", and Yuna being stuck in Matilda's body and this and that... oi. They NEED to make a sequel. They can't leave us hanging!

Yeah, they should make a sequel. I really would like to know what happens next. Keiji Inafune even said if he can find the time (and money) he'll plan on making a third Legends. But that's something we have to wait a long time for. They said if Legends 3 is made, it'll probably come out sometime in 2007.

I'll be lodged in a college somewhere when 2007 rolls around. -_- Cripes, that's too long.
If there was a MML3... It'd have to have more of the Bonnes in it. *pounds fist into open palm* Sure it was nice to add in a few new characters like Bola and Klaymoor but they weren't that fleshed out. (How can they go poofing around like that? Is Bola a special carbon? A psychic? A robot? Really solid ghost?)
Besides, the Bonnes were the only reason why I first played MML. XD
(Tron Bonne, you ruined my life!)
((EDIT: YES. I GO BACK TO CORRECT ANCIENT GRAMMAR ERRORS. THEY BUG ME. LEAVE ME ALONE! *sobs*))

That whole "The End" thing was really discouraging. So when I read about that Keiji Inafune interview, naturally I started bouncing off the walls. Frankly, I'd never heard of that whole "Onimusha" or whatever it was project, but now I have a pretty good idea of what had bogged down the rest of Capcom's products...like why they kept pumping out continuous versions of Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Zero, and didn't really create a very interesting plot (at least I thought it was kind of boring) for Mega Man X7. I've got a pretty good feeling that MML3 will happen, but I don't know if there will be a US release or not...heck, I don't know a lot of things since its creation has only been insinuated at. Still, 2007 is a long time...but that should also give them all more time to make MML3 the best they can (that, and pump out a few more mediocre versions of MMBN.)

I think it would be pretty cool if data turned evil or something, like got a bug? Dunno just think it would be cool because data has so much Knowledge and power...it would be quite funny, no?

Yeah, but that wouldn't work. Data is the main source of healing and data saving. It he would turn evil, it'd be as a final boss fight.
