Capcom will annoucne two new games at E3.

I sort of didn't want to make this thread. For one, I think this topic might fit into an already existing thread but I just wasn't sure. For two, we've gone through this sort of thing alot.

Well Capcom has said that:
1 will be an obvious announcement
1 will be a surprising announcement

If one of the two were Legends 3 which category would it fall into?

That would be the surprising announcement, but I honestly doubt it's either.

It's cool they're showing off new stuff, though. Even if it isn't Legends. The Lost Planet sequel, Okami, MM9, Dead Rising, etc... They could announce anything and chances are I'd be happy with it. I trust them not to suck.

It wouldn't surprise me if neither of the two had anything to do with Legends. But I won't argue that Capcom's starting to move in a more favorable direction.

Personally, I'd love to see more Viewtiful Joe, if not another Legends... but so long as they don't have anything to do with zombies or street fighter, then I might take a second look.

Not even if it was a new Darkstalkers!? (that would be surprising)

Anyway, needless to say, I find it rather improbable that the surprising news will be anything to do with Legends. (maybe not even MegaMan for that matter) It could very well be something entirely new. More likely something surprising from any of Capcom's other series. But I hope it's something cool, at least. MegaMan 9 this past year sure didn't disappoint.

Now that would be different (though I never played the games, myself). That, or a continuation of the Gargoyle's Quest series or even Strider- those were good ones in the old days.

Who knows? Maybe something obscure will emerge- Look at Bionic Commando.

I think that Megaman X9 for XBL and PSN, with 16-bit graphics, would be an "obvious" announcement. Onimusha 5 would also be a given.

Alot of people are predicting that a Strider game would be a surprising announcement.

If they announce a 16bit MMX9 for VC/ XBLA/ PSN I'll lose my freakin' mind.

Also, I'll be disappointed if it turns out to actually be Legends 3. There are so many ways they could ruin it. Most sequels that don't come out until a decade after the last (Banjo, NiGHTS) don't turn out the way we wanted them after all those years of (im)patiently waiting.

So... if Capcom decides to surprise us devoted fans, it better be worth it. Though I still doubt it's even RMD3.

Nice.. except that's not the actual topic; the actual topic is that “Capcom will annoucne[sic] two new games at E3.”

I mean I get that we're trying to hope that this time it really will be Legends 3, but it wouldn't really make much sense for the topic to be restricted to that.

A: “I think it might be Legends 3.”
B: “Well, I don't.”
C: “I don't either”
A: “Well that's stupid.”
B&C: “No, you're stupid.”

...yeah, that would get old, really fast. Also, I can't imagine it would make much sense to make a separate topic about all the other things the two new games might be.

But then again, it is in the Legends section.

Oh, right. 16-Bit MMX9 would be awesome.

Even if it is DASH 3 and it sucks×1,000,000, at least then we won't bother waiting for DASH 4, and we can all move on with our lives. xD

Yeah I know it wasn't the topic subject I was just meant that people wearn't really saying what they thought Legends 3 would fall under and I just wanted to state my opinion or something like that. (Heck even I don't know what I'm really saying )
