He speaks the truth, people.
Also, I prefer 32-bit MMX(even though 4 was the only great one; at least to most people. Personally I love 5), but, you know, that's because I never owned a SNES.

… people wearn't really saying what they thought Legends 3 would fall under … I'm pretty sure that was a rhetorical question in the first place. ; It's definitely the surprising answer; it would only be obvious in a decidedly sarcastic way. 32-bit MMX is great, but considerably less likely. (and closer to an actual sequel, rather than a retro-gimmick sequel*) Are we assuming this will be coming from Inti again? * - Now, when I say “retro-gimmick,” I mean that in the best possible way. 8-Bit MegaMan 9 was actually done very well. Retro may very well be a generally good style for sequels.

i think the obvious one will be a new version of the money machine known as megaman (ya know something kid friendly, battle network or something but not legends in any way)
the not so obvious...marvel vs capcom3?? ^_^

I for one hope we don't get Viewtiful Joe, Okami, or any thing else Clover related. Capcom got rid of Clover so it would be a bad move if they make sequels or spin offs without the original team.
Then again they allowed Inti creates to touch the original series, so I wouldn't be surprised if we do get a sequel/spin-off to a clover studio game.
For an obvious announcement I think it would be something resident evil related, something Devil May Cry related, or something Capcom VS related.
For a surprising announcement, I'm guessing they will either reboot/remake an older series/game, or something that would be most surprising of all, something new, fresh, and original.

I didn't think it deserved its own topic, but I wanted to mention it, so I figured I'd do so here where the discussion of "hope for MML3" was earlier.
Aim was telling me earlier that RPGamer mentioned in their Japandemonium section the results of a poll by Famitsu for the most desired sequels. The list was mostly RPGs, which was the main reason RPGamer was covering it. Aim says that he saw the list, though, and had to double-take: apparently, Rockman DASH was seventh on that list.
Sorry to kind of derail the topic with this, please carry on.
Sidenote: Funny thing, when I say doubletake, I mean literally. XD Aim tried to find the poll results again and couldn't find it on the list. The most likely reason? RPGamer was reporting on it and, realizing that Rockman DASH wasn't an RPG, took it off the list.

It is highly unlikely that there will be any megaman games at all any time soon, as per what was recently said by capcom staff. www.themmnetwork.com/?p=1563Still, there is a slim chance there will be something announced, but don't kid yourself, it is very slim. As for a chance Megaman X9 or Megaman Legends 3 is that megaman game, those are even less. Capcom really isn't paying much attention to the blue bomber these days. They have moved on to Resident Evil and other more mature titles. If they would dare to update megaman, I'm sure they could bring him into that range, but they won't.

Yeah I think Capcom feels they satisfied the hardcore gamers with MM9 and they might feel like they can sit back now. But still, a surprise is a surprise so I'm always hopefull. Don't know why but I can get pretty hyped about something but not that disappointed when it doesn't turn out my way.
