@mlt: Thank you for your honesty. I agree with everything you said, right down to the writing bit.
Pretty stupid of me to post that and then ask what people thought of a comic. That does not represent my best effort, at least as far as writing goes. It was basically a color test that kind of evolved into a little scene. It's not even really finished either . I have millions of ideas for Legends comics, all of them relevant to the games, all of them inside jokes, and yes, all of them infinitely funnier than this. But I love dark humor and I'm sure everyone's read that at least once or twice from me. I'm more offended by idiocy and lack of thought than I am language, violence, or anything else that's considered tasteless. These vulgar things SCREEEEEEAM at people to look, and so long as what they're seeing has substance, I don't mind stooping to exploitation. But that pic isn't the case at all, and I really should have made that clear.
Tuttle. What can be said? There's practically no concpet art of him (none that's seen the light of day, at least) . The talkie and the model I thought is what people would remember from the game, so I went for the flawed in-game model to base it off of. Mostly. I'm still taking what's been said into account, though. The head and shoulders especially.
The Clarence/Emma sketch is my favorite, too. For some reason I love my sketches way more. Graphic pencils reminds me of paint. Dunno why. I should do more of those.
@mir@k: Definitely doing a few test runs. I'm thinking It would be a bi-weekly thing though, so I can put in that extra effort most webcomics sorely lack.
duo: YES. I haven't forgotten that at all. But that game has gone through so many changes that you wouldn't even recognize it. Punkman DASH: Can Ya Dig It? is the new incarnation, and it's a nonlinear sidescroller with a WASD/Mouse controls (shoot in any direction!) and Legends weapon developement. It takes place between MML1 and 2, covers the Bonne's story of their little department store mishap, and what prompted the Forbidden Island excavation and Sulfur Bottom. This one's gonna take some time.
But it's also gonna blow your little minds.
