Well, most schools tend to think learning the entirety of history is better than actually taking time to learn each event specifically (and correctly for that matter…) ... Ah, but moving on … uh… hope the hiatus goes well. (first BM 1-3 goes and gets a life thus eliminating him from posting more than once a week and now FG is taking a vacation from here… It’s getting kind of quiet around here… Well, I’m going to go out and get some cupcakes. Maybe everyone will be back by then… you know you can’t resist the lure of tasty cupcakes... for long!) As for keeping this on topic… umm… I’ve got nothing… Eh, I’ve said what I came to say and then some, so unless BM 1-3 or Pharaoh come along and say something I’ll just let this thread be… As for FG… (Eh, just don’t stay away too long… If not for us, then for the drabbles… or something like that…)

You portrayed the crusades quite well Gustaff Glyde! I commend you! All is very true and let us never speak of the Children's Crusade again (although it is VERY HILARIOUS.... wait, that was kinda mean, but if you think about it, it's probably the dumbest moment in history). I kinda knew all of that (I had a whole semester of Church History that covered the Crusades for like 2 weeks). Please come back FG and I hope you're not mad at me *sticks out lower lip*

Yeah, I was looking at one side of the thing and did not specifiy very well that the first crusade was the only successful crusade.
Oh well. Everything's been getting to me at the moment so I am just going to shave off one stress at a time and see how I do after a bit. For my own good, really. XP It's not as if I posted every single day and in several forums at once.
Nah, I'm not mad. I just needed some sleep.
When you're overracting to the littlest of things, it's time for a breather. I've been caught up in too many things!

Yeah the children's crusade was a bad idea, but a thousand years ago was a thousand years ago. I'll tell you what; there was a ship that sunk just outside of... I think it was Chicago, twenty feet out of port. When I first read that I started laughing. Then it said eight hundred people died and I felt really bad. But of course I live by the Great Salt Lake, at it's deepest point it's only about fourteen feet deep, you can wade through the rest, so I don't have much to go on. As for the end of FG and BM 1-3 it reminds me of Tenchi Muyo, even though I've sworn it off, how the pirate comes back in the end and says the carnival always goes away but if you wait long enough it'll come back. I've always had a 'life' outside the forums... sorta... But recently the money pit's been getting deeper and easy or hard as it may be I'm not looking to con you good people out of your pennies... Just your senses . And so the brave little Bureaucratic Model went out into the world to find some money, and low he found some Silver Slippers, the Bluebird of happiness and one of the lesser staffs of Merlin, but that pawn broker doesn't have a heart… or a sense of humor... so out I'll go again soon. What were we talking about anyway? IF you even want to bring it up.
