You mean to tell me this topic doesn't already exist? Wow. Well, I'm interested in knowing what you think is the best version of Mega Man Legends and why.
I'm a big fan of PC games, myself, so, I'm probably going to go with that. I'm surprised at how good of a port it is!

I don't have it but I think that the PSP version is the best. It may be in Japanese but hey, you're able to take it anywhere!!!

It's very smooth on PSP; at that size(1×?) the graphics don't look so poorly done for one thing, but also, it controls well and feels good. I actually almost prefer the control scheme on PSP to that of the PSX version. They did it very well. It's really very nice to have in a collection, even if you can't understand the words.
From what I understand also, the PSP version of Rockman DASH 2 runs smoother in Nino Island's Ruins. That's something I hear a lot of people complain about for the PS1 version.. bunch of whiners. That's kind of unrelated though.

I honestly liked the Windows version best because I was able to modify it and patch it,but other than that i liked the PSP version best it ran much smoother and it was nicde to have it to carry around. So anyway that's my opinion. So Later

Personally I think nothing in the world can beat the feeling of having that Playstation Fill-in-your-Favorite-Number-Here controller in your hand as you blow the circuits out of every mech and Reaverbot in the game, just like back in '98.

I liked the PS1 best. I've only played the PS1 and the N64 versions, but the N64 wasn't very good, and if I wanted to show one of my friends the sheer awsomeness of the Legends/DASH series It woudn't be on the PSP because not many people know how to speak Japanese around here... WHAT?!? They have a version for Windows? I thought that was legends 2.

Actually from what I understand Legends 2 for PC isn't available in English.
Legends 1 for PC is very real though. I <3 my copy.

Heh, my PC copy, which I downloaded off some site for 15 bucks, is a glitchy abomination. Not that Legends 1 is an abomination.

99.99% sure that isn't true, unless someone found the cheat-codes for that..

Nope, there is none. I would've known about it/posted about it by now, don't you think?

I voted for the Playstation because out of the three versions I've played (PS1, N64, PC) the PS1 controlled the best.

I think that the PS1 version is the best because it's fun to play legends with a actual controller and not a key board. I also like my games in english and I don't like messed up ending themes or buildings missing.

Personally, the PSX version is better. I can't imagine trying to play the game on anything else but a PSX controller. I'm sure the other versions aren't bad, but I'm just so used to the regular controller now.

Here here! The Playstation controller can be oddly satisfying. YOU ----ED MACHINES ARE NO MATCH FOR MY X-ATTACK! WHOOPAH! Ahem, sorry. But yeah, the Playstation version if the only version I've played and I seen no reason to switch to another platform. It's great. {Noted by EC - Vulgar language / Censor evasion}
