Anyone excited to see Klickelan island? I know at least a few of us are. So what say we take a good look at it? Concept art though it may be, it'll still form the basis for what'll be in the final game, so it shouldn't hurt, right? Just in case you missed it somehow, here's a link to the picture of the island.Things of note: - Cloud-covered western half of the island
- Rocky mountains in middle of island
- Water ruins (from the Bonne mech contest) on south of island (possibly?)
- 'Walls' surrounding island in sea to northeast
- Anything else? Feel free to speak your mind.
Here we go! :0A:

It looks like a ruin, but the entrance is rather long to be just for that water ruin. The white and red structure in the middle of the conspicuous platform is more likely to be a launch platform for the rocket experiments, which would also explain how this could be either the main island or at least the starting island of the game.

This island looks massive compared to kattleox, and we can only hope it is! The city looks unique and cultured. I can't help to feel this is a giant leap in the right direction.

Great idea moving it over here Blues! Now we can stop distracting from the Townspeople event... I'm in love with the idea that it's a city full of a bunch of really talented diggers. I've always felt that the digger's culture was underrepresented in Legends 1 and 2; you hardly see any. This island seems to suggest that they intend to fix that with this game, which is absolutely fantastic. It looks like there are a lot of adventures to be had over on Klickelan Island. (I also like how its history only seems to go back 100 years. Why does that sound familiar?) Regarding the actual design I'm not sure what to think. It looks a bit... big; at least I hope it is with all the stuff that seems to be going on there. But at the same time, I wonder if that's OK, because the islands in Legends are supposed to be characteristically small after all. But if this is what it takes to get a game with a solid one-island approach I love it to death. (← still wishful thinking; 100% unconfirmed)

Well no duh--dem Carbon Reinitializations! But yeah, seeing this as a refractor rush boom town, with no end in sight for mining of the refractors, is a novel new setting, and it's almost like what happened to the SW U.S. and Brazil when they had their gold rushes--except this boom town is a full one. I like that it's bigger than Kattelox, but I'd prefer having three hub islands instead of one large one--this island seems to be on the scale of Ryship from MoTB, but this one is circular.

Honestly, it's not really a BIG island, maybe compared to kattelox and friends, but it's not unbelieveable.

Not really. I just want to see Kattelox and Ryship make a return for this game, while Klickelan is still a really nice new addition.

We don't know about Ryship, and Kattelox is full (unless there is something in the Yass Plains to find)--but here's food for thought: the very reactivation of the Elder System probably means the reactivation of once-deactivated ruins, including those currently unknown to the Carbons. With that in consideration, many things can happen, and whole new sections of ruins can be opened.

Thats a good point, but I feel as if I'm ready for all new islands, I love Kattelox, but other than say Ira, are there any charactors who need to be returned to. Maybe, just maybe if MML3 sells well, they will remake MML1. I just don't see a compelling reason other than nostalgia, to return to Kattelox.

Hey, time for Kattelox to develop. MML2 did exist in the timeline, after all. Who knows what plenty of new capital going into Kattelox would have done to the city! Nostalgia, new missions, part of the plot, it can work out. But that's just me.

But Megaman "The Master Key" Juno is dead, who could take his place?

It is implied that there are other Bureaucratic Units and Purifier Units scattered throughout the ruins, presumably of mixed origin (Elder of Master System). While I don't see the need for a new copy of Juno, we don't need to go back to Kattelox because of the same scenario that we had in Legends 1. There would definitely need to be another reason in the story to go back.
But either way, we're getting off topic here. We're trying to discuss the new island, are we not?

Very true. What kind of culture do you think the island will have.

Funny to say, but the main section we've seen of Teomo so far looks like a regular Italian coastal town, with modern infrastructure of course. But I bet there will be some more modern influences shown later, if the silhouette of larger buildings in the background tells me anything.
