This thread may be unnecessary but I decided to make it because of the fact that there's so many concurrent threads. But just in case you feel this is redundant go ahead and lock it. As you may already know they mentioned NYCC was going to be where we get the next bit of info and here we could keep track of all the different liveblogs that might pop up. This is the general Comic Con website. And here is the Capcom specific info. There are two panels, as you can see towards the bottom of the page: MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 Friday, October 8, 7:15pm, Room 6 THE WORLD OF CAPCOM Sunday, October 10, 12:15, Room 6 If I had to guess our interest will show up on the second one, "World of Capcom". And I'll also guess the time listed is Eastern since it takes place in NY. I personally expect more info about the fan feedback process but if we use the last panel as a comparison we might not get that much info. In the previous Capcom panel they said they where going to reveal what MM Universe actually was but they only replayed the Live Action Teaser Trailer and said they'll work hard to get it in a playable state(Inafune then talked about the "Oft Requested" game if you care to remember).

I'm really hoping this event has more actual information on the Legends 3 Project. Capcom's given us next to nothing as far as details go. (Not that the announcement wasn't more than I'd have hoped for) Who knows how long it could be ’til we get more information if there's nothing to see at the NYCC, though? :18:
Blues here is lucky enough to be seeing everything there firsthand, which should be cool.

Yep, Comic-Con's gonna be pretty awesome! I honestly can't wait for the Capcom panel, and meeting other fans will be exciting as well. @green: I'm pretty sure there's going to be something there. Eguchi-san promised more info on the fan development thing at least...and apparently (the real) Keiji Inafune himself will be there too. That'll be an interesting oppurtunity. (By the way, Darfox8, I started a thread on Comic-Con a while back. In fact, I might update it today with something interesting... )

That'll be an interesting oppurtunity. I know we're expecting more information about the development process, but I'm hoping to see more artwork or — this is probably a bit too soon to hope for, but perhaps a screenshot or two. (Even something tentative, just to show how Legends could look on 3DS) Hopefully there's something tangible and substantial. All the information we have now is very vague — they're still teasing us even though they gave the announcement eh.

From what Inafune and other staff members have said both before and after the announcement, it seems that they've barely started on the project yet. I mean, they're looking to co-develop it with the fans, right? So I doubt they have anything more than a few art pieces made up or if we're lucky, some models rigged (though we probably wouldn't be able to see that at NYCC...).

My opinion is that they are waiting for something like that to show REAL stuff about this.. Probably TGS would be a better spot but coicidentally it was revealed after it.. huh.. coicidence?

(By the way, Darfox8, I started a thread on Comic-Con a while back. In fact, I might update it today with something interesting... ) Oops. Before making this thread I searched the Legends 3 board and the general forums. I guess I should of been dug deeper in the sub boards. I personally don't believe development is actually that early on. But not that I can show anything as proof. Lately it seems games are unveiled later in the development cycle so they can avoid "meh" reactions from the audiences. Though I guess it would make sense for this to be announced while it's still early so that Inafune could prove that people want it.

Yeah, I really have no idea how far along they could be in development. Depending on how much input they want from the fans I could see them being anywhere from at the very beginning to maybe even as much as 50% done. (50 is a very very high number, though) If they're asking for help writing and planning the entire thing to make it MegaMan Legends 3 by the fans, for the fans, it's probably closer to nothing done; if they're only really asking for input on little stuff like special weapons and such, I could see them being pretty far along.. And I don't know if I'd expect them to unveil this with nothing to show for so long. The announcement alone was huge, but I'd love to see them back it up with something even bigger at the NYCC. Then again, based on the interviews I didn't even think they had anything in development, so I probably wouldn't expect anything so soon. I just can't wait to see what they've got planned!

This is sad, I have the NYCC Capcom stream playing while I work like it's the news. All I need now is a printout of all the Legends 3 promotional material organized into a real newspaper to complete the image. :-\

Have I got timezones mixed up? I'm watching the live stream too, but I don't think they're gonna do anything Legends-related. o.o I guess we just wait for the website?

Ack. I thought I heard them mention that earlier. Well damn. They're showing news right now and all we can do is wait for the website to update. Lucky Blues. Probably seeing this right now. Suspense! Ehh... “Legends 3: by the fans, for the fans” is not really what I was hoping to hear.

Huh, I'm most interested/concerned about this new heroine contest thing. How big of a roll role will she have in this game?
And it really looks like fan input is going to be huge; bosses, voice actors, ideas....
