Basically, your thoughts on what Capcom should add, get rid of, or keep in MML3.
Add: More interesting weapons, Kattleox Island cameo. Get Rid Of: Game Over Screens, (just restart in the flutter). Keep: Boss fights, voice actors, Basic gameplay, Data Dance.

It'd be pretty cool if some of it takes place on Ryship Island. I wouldn't mind a Tuttle and/or Denise cameo.
Getting to fight the Bonnes while they're trying to rob Gold City bank would be pretty cool, though that probably wouldn't happen.
Sections of the game where you play as different characters. Tron in the Gustaff, maybe Tron or Roll by themselves. Control the Flutter maybe?

Keep the voice acting and make sure Trigger's played by a guy this time around.
I'd also like to keep the focus shifted more off the system aspects of the game and more towards the carbons. That's the thing that hooked me on the first game and sort of turned me off in the second. I want to be interacting with memorable townspeople who stick with me even years after the fact again! >:]
And for the love of Inafune, more Bonne involvement. That was another point in which Legends 2 was lacking.

i agree with Dashe. megaman needs to hit puberty, even if he is a late bloomer. he'd look good with a mustache too.
EDIT: MEGASTACHE.
i want to see bigger areas, bigger bosses and more weapons.
maybe more evidence of megaman's reputation in the game... ooo, or even multiple endings?

Add: A Blues type of character, with a good background story. Get Rid OF: Non explorable ruins because of the Digouter licence, I had some tough times getting them. u_u Keep: Voice actors, Yuna and Sera! Geetz and Gatz! >_<

There is no way they would've hired a new voice actress for Tron JUST for Marvel vs Capcom 3. In previous vs Capcom games, if there was a character that hadn't had a game in the states in a while (meaning no current VAs), they'd just leave the Japanese voice tracks for that character. That was what I thought was very odd about hearing her new voice actress last week. I thought, "maybe I'll head over to the Legends Station and see what they think of this..." and then, of course, Legends 3 gets announced. ;D

Add: A Zero-style Character, even if an enemy, I'd like to see a canon MML-style Zero Keep: Digger License tests, they are challenging and make the the game harder, making the game have a bit of reply value. get rid of: Game overs
reasons: Zero was originally made to kill megaman/X, a cameo'd Zero would make a perfect MML3 Main boss. License Tests area nice nifty challenge that increase the difficulty of the game, I like games the let you manually set the difficulty rating. Game over screens weren't really a problem with me, save for against Marlwolf, but even he was 'just evade and outlast' style for me (9 hours of it) but i like games that just restart you frm the beginning of the level if you die, it means you dont lose any zenny, special weapons, or buster parts. And if you lsoe these things then it should only be what you found in that dungeon/area, and even then, they should start you at the beginning Dungeon/area of where you were KO'ed. Boss Fights excluded.

(Some of the suggestions in this topic are reminding me why I don't want DASH 3 to be something created for the community, by the community.)Add: More special ruins based on Digger license — including SS License ruins for those who choose to play Very Hard mode. (Or, if the SS License doesn't make a re-appearance, at least something special for Very Hard Mode) More emphasis on being a highly-qualified Digger, please. Get Rid Of: Roll. ... kidding! How about ... nothing? =) Keep: Well it sort of goes hand in hand with not getting rid of anything, but keep everything! Except Susan Roman — but I don't think it's even time to worry about specific voice actors. However, to that end, at the very least, Caroly Larson (Tron), Rob Smith(Teisel) and George Masswohl(Barrel). Maybe Bon's too, but honestly, can't they just reuse his voice clips? xD No, umm... in all seriousness. Pretty much 100% what Miss Dashe said. Get rid of the whole System plot, or else just ignore it and get back to the actual digging — freelance adventuring as a way of life, not to discover the mysteries of MegaMan's past. I didn't even need to know MegaMan had a mysterious past. Oh oh oh! Bring back: An interconnected network of ruins instead of (or in addition to) several different, relatively small ruins — Kattelox style! And in the same spirit, preferably just one island, with a whole lot of charming details instead of several, rather uninteresting islands.

Wow. The Yuna fanatic asking for the system to be skimmed over in favor of real digging? The apocalypse is nigh! I'd die a little inside if they added robot masters, Zero, or Blues. I found out a while back that I like Legends just because it's so different from the rest of the Mega Man games...if they put those guys in there, it'd just be more of the same. Just another Mega Man game. Legends needs to stay unique!

(This topic is reminding me why I don't want DASH 3 to be something created for the community, by the community.) That's the kind of shit I've been talking about exactly. Whoever first said the customer is always right was wrong themselves. I'm not opposed to the System being present in the game, but I think things are way less interesting when they're in your face the way they were in Legends 2. I think it would be nice if they made the item development more involved. I always felt like for how sandboxy the games made themselves out to be, it didn't require any kind of ingenuity. I think anything truly open-ended should challenge the player to think independently and achieve goals on their own terms.

-Makoto Tomozawa (or whoever composed DASH 2's music) composing the music for DASH 3.
-A guy voicing Trigger!
-Inafune writing the story for DASH 3 (although that's probaby a given already).
-Have Trigger talk more! He was almost a silent protagonist in DASH 2.
That's all I have at the moment. I'll post more once I come back from classes.

And Miss Dashe continues to read my mind. Get out of my mind, Miss Dashe! (or stay, you know, whatever) I didn't want to call out anyone's specific ideas, since I don't really want to offend anyone, but yeah — Protoman, Zero or Robot Masters are nothing I want to see in or anywhere near my Legends games. (Nothing personal to the people who suggested them) This is the sort of thing I could see really dividing the fanbase, if it's the sort of thing about which Capcom's going to be asking for input. >.<
I guess I'd have to come up with some elaborate scenario where Yuna gets to be part of the game without including all that System mumbo jumbo. Which is something I'm not going to do. I'd like to see them make it work somehow — if for no other reason, then to see Yuna in the new updated graphics/etc, and to get more official Yuna artwork. But that's a sacrifice I'd be willing to make, I suppose. On the other hand, Yuna's role in MML2 was rather important, but she had so very little screen-time — not to mention, very little time in her own body. I'd like to hope they could work her (and Sera) in at least a little bit in my version of what MML3 sould be.
I also love the idea of more involved item development like inclover said. Just as long as you're capable of getting everything on a single file(hopefully without the use of multiple playthroughs), I'll be happy. (But I hardly think MegaMan Legends 3 is a game I'd mind playing multiple times to complete!)

Horiyama Torishihiko (MoTB's composer) was better, IMO.

One more before I head to class: None of that cheesy dialogue that was in the MegaMan Zero games! The text was so dumbed down and "4Kids" that it erased any serious tone the games had! I also want the same effort that was put into the voice acting for the three PS1 games to be put into Legends 3!
Actually, I'd like DASH 3 to be completely about what happened at the end of DASH 2. Trigger's past, the System, the reactivating of the ruins, etc. It's one of the reasons why I love this series so much.

I want the voice actors to totally outdo the performances in Legends 1 and 2. Goodness knows they've had 10+ years to practice if they're going to come back for an encore!
