Playing from a Spotter's perspective would be intriguing, to say the least. It'd be even more interesting if it was Megaman who was doing it: Roll: Why didn't you tell me there was a giant reaverbot in that room?! Megaman: Sorry Roll, I'm not used to spotting yet!

LOL at playing as a spotter. So you would be looking at a screen, playing a game about a person who looks at a screen all day. @__@ (sounds like the video game of my life actually)

Like the MML equivalent of Ravenholm? That would be epic! EDIT Expanding on that concept: We need scarier Reaverbots. Granted there were the invisible Sharukurusu in the Lake Jyun ruins, but those weren't as scary as they were dangerous.
We need genuinely scary reaverbots. And then we need to base a ruin off of them.
For example, you get a Special Weapon that emits temporary lanterns to light up the room, but other than that you can barely see anything. There would be dark colored Reaverbots (A cross between Sharukurusu and Cannam) in the room, and they wouldn't act hostile in the dark. However, if the light was activated, they would go crazy on you.
If they spotted you, and it was dark, they would climb onto the ceiling and watch you.

Posted by: Blue Boy The Dungeons in this game should be very good. I think they should make some dungeons as creepy and scary as possible. A dungeon that would make you say,"I don't want to go in there but I have to.." Thats kind of how I felt the first time I played MML. Mightve been because I was young, or because I didn't know what was down there, but reaverbots used to scare me pretty well

While I do plan on getting a 3DS for this, a PS3, Xbox 360, and (Dare I say) Wii port would be nice.

How naive of me to think the discussion of what systems MML3 would come out for would stop after the system was announced…

I'm wondering if it's possible to keep game data on the SD card for the 3DS. If so, I wouldn't mind having the ability to create user generated dungeons. I'd like it in the game world as say an addition to a digger's guild, where diggers can play in 'virtual' / 'manmade' dungeons. Like the digger tests, you don't gain any items ingame, but you can adjust max weapon levels (hidden depending on what you have on your save).

That seems fun. It would be awesome to submit those to other people to download, and challenging them with a prize. (Probably iuf they lose they have to pay something and so on.)

Seriously though, I find the idea sounds good, provided it would be only one facet of the general gameplay. What I would like? Make it really, really, really long. I don't care if it's tedious, games are too short these days and I want the adventure to last and the missions to have gameplay depth. I'm talking RPG length. Also, make it hard. That, and a large, explorable world. Like, very large. I don't have any general demands about the plot, as long as they keep it charming and somewhat engaging like they have in the past.

Would be cool if the game was divided into two cartridges for more depth in the game. (Would allow for more data to be crammed into each one.) Don't know how that would work though...dammit. Now I'm worried...

Ok I been a MML fan since the beginging. I grew up with it. So please take into consideration my dreams for MML3.
1) Revisting old locations from the games... Kattolox Island, Ryship Island and the other locations from MML2.
Exploreing new origanal locations is a must of course.
2) Making the old areas more explorable, more detailed more life, more people. And things to do. Even more side quest.
3)Revisting old Ruins
4)A challenging system for obtaining Digger permits and licences.
5) Tons of optional side missions, quest's ect.
6)The return of all the origanal cast from the three games.
7) Moving between locations/ islands should be by the Flutter.
8) There should be a playable segment inbetween Flutter trips, (reasen to explore the Flutter, buy things for the Flutter, mission briefs ect.
9) Non-liner areas/missions ect. The player should choose there way threw the "world map".
10)Good quality voice actors/actress.
11)lots of dialog, and cutseans.
12) Missions like rebuilding towns and cities, after Pirate and Reaver Bot attacks.
13) Make the game challenging and long, and replayablity.
14) Bring back most of the old Reaver Bots.
15) Having a large line up of enemy Reaverbots
16) Having a bit of dark Humor... most MML players are older now, so the humor shouldnt be to kiddie.
17) Weapons old and new, a wide variety and stuff ect.
18) Return of other miner charactors.
19) lots of custumization for megaman and equipment.
20)Return of old popular vehicals, ie. airships Tron ships ect.
21) There should be a threat of Reaverbot attacks on civilian centers and people.
22) More envolment with Civilan NPC's.
22) More mature storyline, but still have the classic Mega Man humor.
23) Being able to control/ custumize robots like the ones the Trons have.
24) During have the Trons as both enemeys and Friends.
25) Return of Glydes crew and Bola.
26)Have a unique feel to each Island or location.
27) Wide variety of envirments, locations, weather ect.
28) Night Missions.
29) Online play. with differnt MML and other Megaman games for online battling. More fun games and modes of online play would be nice.
30) New music, and remixed or upgraded versions of old songs to old locations.
31)lots of options and custumizations.
32) DLC content.
33) Other NPC's that are activly Digging. More NPC, wider look and variety.
34) wide variety of mission types.
35) More digg ruins. larger more detailed ect.
36) Other MM Games have had the T rating... maby MML3 should be a T this time around.
37)Mini games, wide variety.
38) Police, firdepartment, military, bank, News NPC's
39) A Newstation that reports on stuff happing in the game, like pirate attacks and such.
40)Ocean fighting, Boats subs ect.
41)Airship battles, with differnt ships including the Flutter, gesellshaft ect.
42)make it for the PS3!!!!!!!! mml started on the Playstation it should end there to.
Please try my suggestions, These ideas will make making MM3 the top game on the market, and a memorie, after MM3's succseful release and sells, maby do a cartoon sho.
Take careA

ha! found this thread Add: indeed more Special weapons, really would love to see a laser beam weapon which has igniting effect(metroid prime plasma beam?),elemental weapons?/ maybe possibility to have 2 S.weapons with you at a time and switch with them. just came to thought about a Sniper Rifle! i know legends 2 had somesort "sniper" called buster cannon but it looked more like some water bursting... thingie than sniper if anyone has watched neon genesis evangelion in episode 6 when ramiel shows up they have to use electric sniper to get it down now take the looks of that sniper make some modifications attach it to trigger's right arm, it would be POWERFULL,accurate while having bigger knoback than other weapons and somesort of cooldown perhaps? Get Rid Of: those rollercoaster boots... hate how you go to some stance and magically move to some dircetion well what i mean by that i cant get to know what makes him move in previous games in legends 1 i dont see any wheels whatsoever in those boots and in 2nd it did have those weird sticks in your shoe but they still seemed unlogical. replace those with 'levitation boots' which makes you kinda levitate by having some powerful engines in shoes found from ruins never even heard of (animation could be something like in WoW how priest's levitate looks when standing still ofc it woul lean to forward if moving forward and lean to right if going right etc etc www.wowhead.com/spell=1706#screenshots:id=64167 please copy paste that link so you it shows right screenshot!), childlish reaverbot's... dear lord how i hated hippopotamus reaverbot in Legends 1 Keep: everything else (y) Edit: editting stuff...
