This is Paragon. I think I know why the MML manuals are error-laden. I think it's because they are directly translated Japanese manuals. Sometimes they fix it, but they don't fix everything. That's at least why I think they are full of errors.

Well that's definitely the case with the Misadventures of Tron Bonne manual. In the back where they describe the Mega Man Legends 2 demo, they describe the Japanese version and not what was actually included. That's probably the reason why some characters' names in the manuals are inconsistent with how they are in the games, like "Teasel" and "Bomb Bonne." Japanese is hard to translate when it comes to things like spelling. And I'm fairly certain a different team translates the manual than the one that translates the game. But some of the errors are just lazy typos, like saying Glyde "has a bad luck." EDIT: Oh, then it probably is in the front. I dunno, I wasn't looking at it when I was typing that.

Yeah, but errors like names and some of the game description are translated from Japanese manuals too. Like the "tokens" that give you extra lives, or "calling out to Data." Also, in my MOTB, the demo description is in the front.

Yes... it's full of translation mistakes. But are a lot of other japanese things... <advertisement>This is unrelated, but: www.engrish.com has a lot of funny and weird Japanese-to-English translations. </advertisement> Yeah. The Teisel/Teasel spellings never really bothered me, but the Bomb Bonne one did. It's so annoying... **grumbles**

The other thing I noticed was that they called Klaymoor "Bancoscus"

"Bancoscus" is actually a pretty good representation of Klaymoor's Japanese name. For some reason or another, they changed it for the English verison of the game.

that is because "claymore" is a weapon/mine, and to make him seem more like a enemy, they named him klaymore, well thats my guess at least
