note that the sword in Legends proves that fighting Reaverbots is a guns against short-ranged hand weapon fight, kind of like trying to shave a buffalo with a tiny blade pinched between your thumb and pointer finger. With a thumb-sized can of shaving cream. Well hey, you're not considering the fact that you can enhance its abilities, I.E: Range, Energy, and Attack. And hey, if what you think is true, then wouldn't it show that people that use the Blade Arm and only the Blade Arm are more skilled, and have to deal with more of a challenge? Oh, and I defeated Sera with the Blade Arm ONLY and about 40 Energy Cantines, so: ;D Yes! I loved that about the game! That game was great, though the story line was a bit off. I loved the decapitated-heads-collecting thing. Seemed pointless but fun.

In a world that seems to be based around survival and stupid mistakes would have you looking like Barrel, I wouldn't take my chances with a sword against a towering, "angry" reaverbot when I could have a big, fat laser gun.

I'm not suggesting that you SHOULD. I'm stating that I DID. :]
Allow me that much.

I took Sera down with my buster only and no energy canteens or picnic lunch. Pwn'd. Honestly, 40? I think the most I've ever used is 15.. I've never been good with these create a special weapon dealies, but I always thought it would be a nice touch to be able to inflict Special damage on enemies. So something in the way of a Flamethrower, perhaps a Thunder Beam, maybe an Icicle Shooter, and some way to use the Poison thing too? I dunno, I remember having so much trouble with those, and wishing I could fill the enemies with that much rage...

I don't really care too much for status ailments, really. They wear off so quickly, so it's nothing to fret about. And besides, if you've an S class, most Reaverbots fire abilities are pointless so that leaves not being able to jump 'cause of electricity (which you can stop as well) and having a shortened range for your Mega Buster temporarily (which is nothing for me, since I use only the Blade Arm) And besides, if what you guys think is all true, then I deserve that many cantines if I'm using ONLY a "tiny blade pinched between my thumb and pointer fingers". And I'm close to beating Sera on Hard with only the Blade Arm as well, so I'll see you then ^ ^

I dunno how hard it is. I could probably take Sera easy with the Blade Arm. Just gotta avoid the three hit combo.. o.o And time it right, what with all the dodging. Sera's attacks are all easy to dodge and predictable. She's just always moving. >.<

Her first form is a pushover, but the second is just slightly harder. Yeah, she is always moving. The Blade Arm has a bit of an advantage though, what with it making you slightly invulnerable to damage for a while during the second/third attack (Since they're connected, as in you can't just stop at a two-swipe)
Well I'm not trying to gloat, or boast my abilities, I'm just giving GOOD reasons as to why I appreciate the Blade Arm, as opposed to a lot of other n00b gamers that like it, simply because it resembles Zero's Z-Sabre, or because it's a sword. I just like the fact that it makes battles a little more personal, for it lowers it down to short-ranged combat.
Well, that's just me, and my opinions I suppose. I don't mean to brag of anything, just know that.

Gah! I thought this thread was for creating weapon ideas, not discussing fighting Sera in difficult ways in a "Yeah I beat Juno with two razors and some cherry flavored underwear" fashion. Actually, that's a inside joke that's rather hard to explain. A story for another time, I suppose. So, here's my idea:
Acid Goo Gun
Items:
Old Vials Chemistry Kit Broken Shower Head Gelatin Mix
The acid goo gun launches globs of, well, acidic goo. This substance sticks to walls and floors. Increasing Special allows you to shoot large globs instead of a spray of tiny ones, so you can level that up to adjust it to your liking. The disadvantage to this weapon is: if you fire repeatedly for too long without breaks, the gun itself will start to corrode, and the max energy will start to go down, to the point of deleveling. The only way to repair this is to buy another energy upgrade should it delevel.

I was referring to people making characters for roleplaying reasons, since there is a difference, but sure. If you can kill Sera with the Blade Arm, spectacular. I'm still not a fan of swordsmen in a buster cannon world in a role play, probably because I've seen swordsmen in every single roleplay that calls for/suggests a weapon, NO MATTER THE SETTING.
Yes, I'm biased. Because I am tired of swordsmen. Medieval settings without guns and the like are a-okay, but when we get modernized, cut the swords out. I've seen too many.
But this is besides the point; I was just explaining my reasoning. Carry on, lads and ladies.

If the Blade arm appears in a "legends 3"...then all i got to say is for what the heck, it should be like a Z-Sabre

I would hate it if it were like the Z-Sabre. I like it because it consists OF the ZetSabre, but IS NOT Zero's sabre. Maybe if it were one solid color, like in MML1, but I like the mix of the three colors, it's pretty cool.
As many of you already know, I'm a huge fan of the Blade Arm, but not of Zero.. I don't like him. Inafune just wants to include him in EVERYTHING... It's insane. Ugh, well anyway, if they didn't change thing for the Blade Arm in MML3, I'd be just fine. I'm probably the only person in the world that TRULY appreciates the Blade Arm anyway, so they need only to please my standards ^ ^
