Roll is Roll Caskett MegaMan for some reason is called Volnutt/Voulnut. Something like that. I just call him Trigger.

Trigger is his Elysian name. MegaMan is his unit type. And First Class Purifier is his rank. I thought I might as well through in what his entire name stands for, though I don't know why I said the purifier part . Volnutt is most likely a made up name, I wonder who at Capcom though that someone would name their brother MegaMan Volnutt, at least in JAP version it makes sense.

Also in the Japanese games First Class Purifier Unit = Irregular Hunter. And just to add something. "MegaMan" isn't really his Unit Type, per se. Nor is First Class Purifer his rank. He's a "Purifier Unit", and "First Class" is his Rank. "MegaMan" is most likely a further classification, or a Type maybe. I mean there's Mega(wo)Man Juno as well, so who's to say that there couldn't be other variations of MegaMan, "Trigger" and "Juno" just being two of those? Now why don't you tell me why he's called Trigger anyway?

Thats his name is my best bet. I was just stating the best I knew. From everything I checked up on for the MMLE story all things pointed toward my conclusion. All units of Elysium call him Trigger most of the time (except maybe yuna at one occasion or so.). MegaMan was his unit type because he is refered to as MegaMan only with Trigger, except by the carbons of course. He is rarely called MegaMan without Trigger following it. First Class Purifier... MegaMan could be a unit type and First Class Purifier could be his job and rank, with MegaMan being his Unit type. I tried to explain it, but with the game not telling us enough, it is hard to explain.

Do you guys mean that the japanese version of MegaMan Legends had RockMan Trigger and Roll Casket as their names too? I'm not really sure about that one... I think so. I'm pretty sure. There were some names that were changed in the english version(Klaymoore comes to mind)... I don't remember ever hearing about Trigger or Roll having different names though.

It's two different kinds of classification. "MegaMan" means something different than "Purifier." Note that Juno is a Bureaucratic Unit and is also called "MegaMan." Maybe they'll explain that if they ever make another f$%ing GAME!

I have no idea about Roll, but I think I read somewhere that MegaMan Volnutt's Japanese name was Rockman Walnut. Cute, huh? Don't know how much truth there is to that though.
