I was playing very hard mode today, and while fighting Klaymoor (the first time), he did something very weird. As some of yo may or may not know, when you stand directly in front of him, he cannot shoot you. So I was standing there, then he said something and fired this twin-multicolored -spiraling shot at me. He missed, but the point is, it was some new attack I had never seen before. I tried to get him to do it again but he just stuck to buster shots and those paralyzing shots. Has anyone else seen this move before?

Yes in Hard mode the bosses get new attacks. I can't really remember most of them off the top of my head.

Nothing! It's just a hard mode. The bosses get a new attack and that's it. Unless you want in depth about hard mode.
Hard mode: 1. Reaverbots are stronger 2. You get less money from the reaverbots 3. Everything gets more expensive 4. The bosses get a new attack
Also you can brag that you beat hard mode.

I dont know if this is related, but theres a reaverbot in the game that only shows up once in the entire game, its in the elysium defence are, right next to the last eelvator that goes to the residential area, its purple, it s one of those in yosyonke and it fires a very detailed little spiraling box at you, instead of those blue orbs, and it hurts much more. has anyone seen this?

Are you sure Klaymoor's laser is a hard-mode exclusive attack? I've actually only played normal mode, but I remember him having some kind of energy attack (balls or rings, can't really remember) that kinda floats around him, a buster gun, and a laser beam reminiscent of MegaMan Juno's.

theres not much more to it, it appears only in thatexact location, it has a special attack that only IT has, no other reaverbot of its model has the same atack, instead of having the original color armor, its armor is also purple.

I realize this topic is kinda old, but what the heck, I have some helpful info here.
First of all, the idea that enemies get new attacks in higher difficulty modes is a myth. Difficulty basically just corresponds to the licenses that come with them, and the licenses only affect the ruins you can enter, the worth of Refractor shards, the refractor shard combos enemies drop, and the hit points enemies have. I think it might affect the attack power of enemy attacks too, not sure. Either way, I've seen Klaymoor and Hover Gustav both do their super rare attacks on Easy Mode as well as Very Hard, so I'm sure difficulty has nothing to do with it. The attacks are just really, really rarely used.
For Klaymoor's helix beam, the first time I saw him do it (on Easy mode), he didn't do it until after seven minutes of me dragging the battle out, but after that he did it about five times in the course of a minute. Maybe time is a factor. If it helps, he only seems to use it after firing those green homing shots that paralyze you. He'll then float up into the air a bit, shout "Heave Ho!" and fire a pair of spiralling beams from his chest.
I've tried dragging out all the boss battles to insane degrees trying to find rare moves, but for the most part there aren't any. The only other rare moves I know about are Hover Gustav's napalm bombs and the much, much rarer Beacon Bomb.
As for the purple Fingeri (the tall, force-field generating Reaverbot) I think that spiralling box is some kind of glitch. Like the game meant to load the energy ball object but mistakenly grabbed a piece of the wall instead. It's easy to see why most people miss that since when normally heading through Elysium, a player will just get close enough for it to activate the force field and then shot it down. To make it shoot the spiralling box, you have to retreat from it and let it walk as far down the hall as it wants to before it finally stops to shoot from a distance.

Are the Napalm bombs the attack that sets the floor on fire? If so, then, in my copy of the game, that's not a very rare attack, as she uses it on me in every battle I've had against her. If it isn't that one, then you can just disregard that.

It is. And it is relatively rare since she's only used that once or twice per battle, and that's when I do drag things out for like ten minutes. When I say rare I mean there's no way to manipulate the state of the battle to make them do it, and they don't just do it eventually as part of a repeating pattern, it's just kind of a crapshoot. Even though Tron is likely to use the Napalm Bombs at least once per battle, and at least more often than the Beacon Bomb, there's still a chance she could never fire one off even if you fight her for a whole hour without finishing her. That's what I mean by "rare" in this case.

Well, in my copy, she does it during the beginning of the battle whenever I try to use the circle-and-shoot ("Ultimate Technique") method of attack, cutting the room in about half, and stopping me from using it (Because there's not enough room to circle her).
