The many expressions of Mega Man.

Did anyone else notice that in the ruins, Mega Man's expression changes? Normally, Mega Man has his regular expression. But, when he has a status condition, such as when he's burning, he has a freaked-out expresssion on his face. I also noticed that he smiles when he's near a door. I first noticed this when I was playing with the camera angle in the Calinca ruins. Has anyone else ever seen this?

Yea, I sometimes saw his face change depending on what happens to him. I first noticed this if you kill him and he falls on his back (he would have an "Oww!" face on) or get sick (as you sad, he gets the worried look). I didn't know he smiles when he gets near a door. ^^; I wish the camera was totally free moving. This would be one of those games that I would focus the camera to face Trigger than have it from the back. Capcom really did give this game nifty little details. ^^;

Yeah. it's pretty cool. I never checked if he has an evil face if you turn him dark. But it would have been hilarious if after you peeked at Roll he has a slightly embarrassed red look... not that I'm forgeting what happened in Saul Kada, but that would have been funny to see.

Well actually he puts on his ^^; face when peeking roll, when he's i the lava he puts his 'oww' expression, when he's poisoned he has a face interval from 'oww' to worried look, and finally when he's dark he has an angry expression in his face (i love this one)
