I don't know if this is accurate or not, so please tell me if it's not. Or if it is. Or whatever. Anyway, I found on www.atomic-fire.com/index.php?page=src_dash_dash2 what I think could be the official boss names for MML2. Reaverbot in Abandoned Mine: Jaiwan Dog Reaverbot on Forbidden Island: Wolfon Boss on Forbidden Island: Rush Mammu Manda Ruins Boss: Octomarn Galganfummi Tron's Machine on Manda: Jagd Krabbe Nino Island Jellyfish: Mids NO I DIDNT SEE THE TRILOBYTE REAVERS NAME!! Saul Kada Boss: Wojigairon Calinca Jello Reaver: Rimblemenji Yeah, pretty cool, but not necessarily official. Tell me if they are.

I'm not sure what the source on those names would be, but Atomic Fire is a reliable source for such information. I'd suggest asking there. I believe one of their staffers speaks pretty good Japanese, and is (obviously) obsessed with Rockman. Those names could come from some official literary DASH material, the likes of which we haven't seen over on this end..

fab made a rank that was something to the effect of Wojigairon, so I assume this is where he got it from. But while it IS an official MMLS rank, no one can truly be sure unless somebody pinpoints the ultimate source, like Quint! said.

Also, if they were said "official" titles given to both the boss reaverbots and Bonne bots alike, don't you think that we would have seen them before this? o_-;
As far as I'M concerned, the only "official" names are the ones provided by Keiji Inafune, and the rest of CPS2.

Well, the staff at Atomic Fire is pretty credible. You do have to figure that in as well. Again though, darkservbot, if you're really so interested, you may as well ask.
It's highly possible that these were mentioned in something in Japan - I'd assume a game guide. That's what I'd bet on anyway.

I don't think reliability plays much importance in this situation, as it revolves mainly around factuals, and non-factuals. The Japanese names for the Bonne bots and Reaverbots are already known, and as far as Inafune goes, (the writer of all that is RockMan. Last time I checked, that's the most "trustworthy" you can get...) he's never mentioned anything other than the names in-game. If you ask me, it's all just a matter of misinterpretation. The Japanese have accents different from that of the English tounge, so when they write names in English (Engrish, FG) they may come off as somewhat "distorted" to us. eisenbahn.web.infoseek.co.jp/rockman/bone.htmThat site is a Japanese one, but they wrote the names in English. That's the full extent of Japanese accent misinterpretation right there, if I ever saw it o_-; ... For instance, they call it him Bon Boon, when his name in DASH is Bon Born, and according to CoA's alterations, in English, it's Bon Bonne (Bomb Bonne, as the creators of the instruction booklets might say..) So yeah, it's actually NOT "highly possible" that these are the Japanese (original, modified, etcetera) names, but rather, none too possible, at all

Well, then, Shift, I'd suggest you ask Inafune, if his is the only word you'd trust as "factual". In the meantime, if these names from a reliable Rockman/MegaMan resource are all we have to go by, I'm content to leave it at that.
I would like to see a source where Inafune listed the names we do know and accept, or at the very least, I'm curious what the source for those are, if it's otherwise.

A MML2 strategy guide would have probably cleared this up somewhat...but alas, we never did get one now, did we?

I know that in MML2, Tiesel's (boss) robot in Saul Kada is the "Blitzkrieg" which is German for "Lightning War". In WWII, it was used for suprised and speed to prevent a target from implementing a defense. Doesn't this sound familiar? I mean look at the attack patterns Tiesel does in battle.

I'm guessing that the Jello boss in the ice ruins is called the Rainbow Devil, because it looks alot like the Rainbow Devils from the Zero series.
