Maybe Teisel has experience in interpreting Bon's speech? But then Tron would too, and it wouldn't make as much sense why she wouldn't listen to him at the end of MML2. Meh. I don't get it either. I like the teleport idea.

HE'S NOT REAL! Here's a wild stab-in-the-dark. Check out his name: "Data". Could it be that he (it is a he, right? ) in fact doesn't posses a physical body, and is just literally data? An omnipresent data storage device, communicating with MegaMan through a complex hologram? One that you can't see through because MegaMan couldn't fly the Flutter with Data in the way?Let's see. If Serial Experiments Lain is anything to go by, in order for one to be considered a "god", theoretically you must be omnipresent (check!), and be worshiped by followers. ... So...any Data worshipers here? Show yourselves!

Quite so. *Puts her bed to sleep* Ok, maybe it was a bit stupid. Hey, if anybody comes up with any hardcore evidence that Data teleports, then I'll go ahead and do my forfeit. Whatever that might be...

Maybe that magic "tea-cup" of his doubles as a space suit.

His feets are so small though... Feets... Maybe it's his tail? That always looked like a rutter or some sort of engine to me. Maybe it just pushes him through the space-time continuim, and he bends the very fabric of reality just to get from point A to point B. Or maybe that line is so over-used, I just had to suggest it? No one knows for sure, but what we can be certain of, is that Data's middle name is Frederick.

He wasn't that fast even when he was running around on fire in the beginning of MML2, so I couldn't imagine him RUNNING through the space-time continuum or however you spell it. So that narrows it down to: -He jumps -He flies -He teleports -He swims

You never know, the space time continuwhatever could be liquid. Nobody's really ever seen it, so Data MIGHT swim through it...

Holy crap! I'm a friggin' idiot!!! I went over the game script once more and found this:
Teisel: Maybe we should just give up! I-I got all excited when I heard that what's his name, the monkey, came back from outer space, and was going to give us ancient technology! (Teisel sips his coffee) Teisel: But it just doesn't seem to live up to all the hype!
Oh my, that explains it. So Data DOES know how to get there, and maybe they CAN in fact understand him, but don't care too much to. If you consider how quick Tron and Roll were to excuse him from the conversation, I think that they just might have been fed up with him, and thought of him as an annoyance. So yeah, maybe they CAN understand him... hmmm...

Yeah, I went over that a while back myself. They don't actually mention him saying anything though. I assume they could understand within reason, like how Tron and Teisel can understand Bon, so it's possible that between Eee's, Data could've made some sort of gestures indicating what he meant. I don't think they can understand him though.
If Data managed to get back to Terra I think they might hear him out a bit more on how to get back to Elysium.

Yeah maybe. This is the reason as to why people shouldn't stress Tron and Roll's attempts to create a rocket as much as they do, as it should just be something that poses a conflict for a while, then is resolved fairly quickly. For example, MMLEx takes place 2 or 3 months later... That's a little too long if you ask me, I'm fairly certain that Data would have somehow been able to get the message across a little sooner than that.

Hmm i was under the idea that data speaks gibberish as a way for only mega and him to speak privately. Cause in MML1 doesnt he end up speaking english to eden and then switch back to Gibberish.. Maybe he can speak gibberish and english? And not to mention if mega is the only one who can understand him how could eden of understood Data when he was giving the command to stop th CRP.

Hm. Well, Data spoke English to the computer because he'd probably had a command to override Eden stored in him. And the reason he continued in English was because Mega Man can understand him, and at that point in the game it was crucial that the gamer understand as well...and aren't those commands you see when you talk to Data in the game written in English? Maybe he was actually speaking gibberish the whole time, only the game let you understand it as well.
