If you had the ability to rewrite or reimagine the entire series, what would you change?
I for one would possibly combine both the Master System and Elder System as one and have Mega Man as an ordinary human swept up into extraordinary events.

I'd leave Legends 1 as is, but I'd delete Glyde from Legends 2 and work with just the Bonnes and Bola and Klaymoor. Glyde wasn't as good as he was in MoTB, and Bola and Klaymoor could have used more development. As it is, we just got three teams of villains with very little screentime instead of actually developing the villains further. And honestly, if I had to pick one set of antagonists to deal with in 2, I think I'd choose Bola and Klaymoor over putting more Bonne stuff in, as much as I like them. Maybe rein those three back a little and leave us wanting more, rather than just giving us a bunch of surface stuff that doesn't really develop any of them as characters.

Dashe's main point is mine, too. Bola and Klaymoor felt half-baked in Legends 2, especially when all the Elysium stuff at the end made them feel irrelevant. Removing the focus on Glyde and concentrating on developing those two characters would have made them more memorable.

I would axe all of the perverse shenanigans in the games.
We have to admit all ideas have some propaganda value, as a kid I took away some perverse ideas from this game and developed a mindset I wish I never had. A child's medium really isn't the place to explore sex-adjacent themes and I really criticize the mindset the writers had behind many of these scenes. If a story is to touch upon concepts like these, it should be played soberly, not through comedy and... definitely not through a brother sister relationship, please. I mean to say that, with the age of the cast in mind, the above has filled me with progressively more unease as I've grown older.
But seriously, why does our Player Character see three young girls naked in a single game?
Now that I'm an adult I play this game with my friends; they've given me looks!
