One thing that I'm a little confused about can megaman legends is who exactly did the purifier models work for? I know that their task was to protect the humans of Elysium and eliminate aberrations in the Master system (read: kill those who didn't go along with the plan), but who exactly did they answer to?
In MML1, Juno said something about megaman being under the direct command of Mother (Sera), yet in mml2, we learned that megaman was the right hand man to the Master.
This is very confusing for me. Did the purifier models work for and ultimately take orders from Sera? Is there any indication that the purifier models could be assigned to individual bureaucratic models, such as Juno? Did purfier models live on Elysium all the time and only dealt with issues there, or could they be sent down to Terra to deal with aberrations there?
Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

I think The Master just really liked Trigger, and it was an anomaly, but it's been a while since I've read Estil's scripts or played Legends 2.

I don't believe Purifier Units had any reason to go to Terra due to reinitialization. Ultimately we're left with a lot of unanswered questions thanks to the lack of closure, and any possibility could be correct based on what information we have. Mother Units are the highest rank as far as we know, and yes Purifier Units answer to them by default. Dashe is right in that Trigger was an anomaly and served the Master instead. It helped that The Master confided in Trigger to a remarkable degree, although there's no news that the Master had to "adjust" Trigger in any way in order to be able to do so. All we have is a flashback, and no other Purifier Units to use as an example. Yuna and Sera both clearly have a Servitor Unit a piece as well, and I don't think there's any concrete evidence that rank is above or below a Purifier unit, although it's assumed it's below (Perhaps I missed a line in MML2 somewhere but eh). Ultimately it's all left to speculation until we get more, and it ends up just being fun to speculate on since we don't have all of the answers.

I guess we'll never really know why the Master and Megaman had the kind of relationship they had. There really is no indication in Legends 2 why exactly Megaman was chosen. Even Geetz didn't understand why. The only answer we get is not much of an answer delay is not much of an answer: " the master is lonely."

One thing I would really like to know is what happen to all of the other purifiers. Are there any others still running around? Were they all put on ice by Yuna after trigger and Sera's battle on forbidden island?

I believe that every unit on Elysium was deactivated once Yuna and Sera left the planet, we know Juno was on standby before being awakened by MegaMan, so maybe all units deactivate when not on duty. If we think about them as robots, we could say they act just like computers, when there was no system to give them orders they maybe just never reactivated again, that's why we never see any other unit on Elysium besides reaverbots, but they seem to act according to different rules.
