Near the cave in yosyonke, the one where you go at the beggining of the game not the one with the key, theres a small busted house near the train tracks.
Inside this ruined house is a small fox. He's the only fox in the whole game and the only thing in that "house" I always thought he would be improtant. Maybe to someone in the village was looking for him?Has anyone figured out what he does yet, if anything?
And if you still don't know where Im talking about, its the house on the hill that the Pirate's train destroys so if your passed that then start a new game and see if the fox does anything at all.

I think the house is destroyed from the very beginning. Anyways, I found no use for it, because even if I talk to everyone in town, they don't mention it at all.
Also, there are racoons in the game that have the same shape as the fox. They're on Manda in the Flutter area. More of them show up if you're light.

I don't know if the fox does anything....but those racoons are adorable! Why do they only come out if you're light? Do they just like nice people or something? Talking to racoons is fun >_>

It does nothing at all. All it does is to run around. What's her name.... when you got inside joe's lab. then she will appear when roll and megaman is still talkin' saying that joe's in the ruins. I think she owns that fox. Oh yeah those racoons... One of them is still exercising today.

They're there. Trust me. The racoons will show up if you're light MegaMan. They don't appear until after you get the Manda key, though.

Yeah, those racoons do appear. Anyways, about the fox/racoon/dog/cat/thing (its amazing how one simple model can represent so many things... : , it belongs to Joe's adopted daughter (do they ever mention her name? Poor obscure secondary characters). She mentions this if you go there before fighting the Bonnes in Calinca. She says, "My dad built a really big machine to help save the city, but he worked to hard and got sick! And now little Kon is gone, too. What am I going to do?". Since she is standing in front of what used to be the old house which the Bonnes destroyed (The old man in front of the gate mentions that the Bonnes blew up the house as a warning to the people), I'm guessing the fox was Kon. The house was probably part of the old mine. Since there is a platform for something such as a train or a mine cart, the house probably belonged to a miner or maybe the mine owner, but since this doesn't effect the story it doesn't really matter. I just noticed this after playing through recently. Oh well, now back to my regularly scheduled work... . Well, I just beat the Bonnes during my lunch break (I'm homeschooled, just in case you were wondering how I can be playing games during school hours). After you beat them, Joe's (adopted) daughter will be standing near the reamins of the house with the little fox/racoon/dog. She says its Kon, so I was right. Well, time to get back to me school... *sigh*

well you can lock on and shoot it, as well as the rabbit. in fact if you shoot the rabbit and be really fast you can pick it up and carry it around( not to metion throw it)

... And destroy reaverbots by throwing the rabbit at it. A pity you can't pick up and destroy things by throwing Roll - she'll slap you if you try I think.
Hm, speaking of animals in Legends, I wonder about the larger ones? I doubt we'll see bigger critters like elephants and giraffes since they typically need a large roaming space and an island is not the best habitat. Wolves and deer, maybe. I don't think animals would have survived too well through the Reploid Wars and mass global flooding so any animals larger than the adaptable mouse might have to be cloned.
But that's me digging too deep again.
