Is Barrett just Dah grown up?

I've been playing MegaMan Legends 2 lately, and I noticed something I've not seen being talked about, Barrett and Dah (one of the twins from Calbania Island) are very similar:

I'm not sure of when MegaMan Legends 3 story was supposed to take place. If Barrett is really Dah, then it would be some 10 years after Legends 2. If not, then it's just a coincidence (or a very lazy character design).

What do the Diggers think?

Well, Roll didn't exactly look older in the Legends 3 promo art, but if Barrett and Dah turned out to be the same person after a growth spurt, an education, and a load of hair dye, I'd definitely be curious about what happened to Appo.

Do you mean this art? I'd not seen this art before.

It sounds as a far-fetched speculation now that I see her, I've only seen Aero and Barrett. But you gotta admit the hair is identical, I mean, look at that thing. If not somehow related to Dah, then it's just lazyness there (and if he was really Dah, I would make Appo appear as an recurrent arch-enemy, just to spice things up...).

EDIT: Now looking closely at Roll, she does seem taller than before, with longer arms and such. You don't need to wait her to have wrinkles to say she got older right??

While old news, a note of interest is that Shu, Apo, and Da have been adapted into MMBN as Shuko, Atsuho, and Taichi.

To me, there's a really close resemblance between Gramps and Barrett. They both wear metallic plates on their faces. They wear goggles. And their eyebrows are pretty shaped the same. I mean even the names themselves are pretty close up. Barrell... Barrett... Though it almost seems too obvious.

Now that I think of it, maybe Barrett is related to Shu, Appo, and Dah, but evacuated Calbania Island when Glyde invaded, selfishly leaving his siblings behind? It's a little far-fetched, I know, but anything is a possibility at this point.

Eh, beyond similar hair style, I really don't see the resemblance. Besides, isn't MML3 supposed to take place a year after MML2? Unless something really dramatic happened to Dah, I can't really see them being related.

Then again, the very thought of Appo and Dah make me cringe. I'd throw the little freaks off the island if I could.
