YouTube is MegaMan JUNO!!! Only someone of such a meaninglessly BORING bureaucratic background could possibly sort videos in such a dissatisfying manner! Hahahahahahahaha! I remember having accessed a video right after uploading it (still logged in, same IP) and it counted as one view. I did that twice, and accidentally got two views (though I didn't check the stats page to see how these appeared there, and don't remember when that happened. It might have been before the bigger system changes). Anyway, I'll be listening to the playthrough while I work . PS: no "true" updates yet, but Comcept posted in the comments section saying that they've talked to one of the three console companies during Bitsummit, and that they'll be sending the backer-exclusive poll shortly.

Okay, I just cleared it up with the guy with the videos, apparently if you watch any one video it counts as one watch. He has seven playthrough videos so far and if you watch them all it counts as seven watches!

That's pretty cool! It sounds a lot better than dictating the viewcount across all videos. xD

Yeah, not everyone has eight hours to burn like that. Unless they ran the playlist while they slept!

Hey, it's me. The guy doing the videos in question. : ) I always intended it to be each video's views added together = the total view count towards the additional pledge I make. Sorry for the confusion.
As for watching them all, I know not everyone has that much time to burn. That's why each episode of the playthrough I time out to roughly 30 minutes, and upload one episode per day. The idea was to try and make any video I upload something someone can watch in a managable amount of time, while still having something to keep coming back for. I hope this helps clear things up.
As for when new episodes go online, it's every day at 2PM pacific.

Red Ash is the promoted Kickstarter of the day on the front page.

Probably one view per video, then adding up all the videos' views. Okay, I just cleared it up with the guy with the videos, apparently if you watch any one video it counts as one watch. He has seven playthrough videos so far and if you watch them all it counts as seven watches! That's what I had tried to say. Red Ash is the promoted Kickstarter of the day on the front page. Oh, neat . And it looks like update 6 is up, but only backers can read it.

Red Ash is the promoted Kickstarter of the day on the front page. Awesome. Maybe now we'll get a bunch of new people who aren't inherently biased against the whole thing backing it. I was wondering how it had managed to jump 8k overnight! I wish the day were a little longer. Part of me wonders if Comcept had any hand in that. It looks like update 6 is up, but only backers can read it. It's nothing special. At least nothing that addresses any concerns potential and current backers may have. Pretty much just the poll.

And it looks like update 6 is up, but only backers can read it. Like Dashe said it is nothing special, but here it is for those who can't afford to back the project: The pole had a selection between the PS4, Xbone, and Wii U.

I'm sorely tempted to solicit a sponsor for a twitch run of any Classic Mega Man game by me, in which for every game over I get, they'll donate $1 to Red Ash. It'd be like any of my streams but with money. I'm pretty sure we'd need some kind of millionaire sponsor because I'm just that terrible at them, but the cursing involved would be very worth it. Or maybe I can make one piece of fanart for every $1000 donated, but I can't imagine getting hype for fanart. Maybe for a video. Maybe if I hold the Mega Man Legends 3 announcement reaction video hostage. "Fund this game and I'll publish this old video of me reacting to MML3 in 2010!"

Like Dashe said it is nothing special, but here it is for those who can't afford to back the project: [...] Oh, nothing special indeed. I had thought they'd at least talk a little about Bitsummit or something. At least, either the poll or the promotion on the front page (or the fans' efforts ) has been making the pledges increase substantially today.

It made about as much today as it did the previous three days combined, but it'll need a lot of steam to reach the goal.
