So new Call model given out on twitter. I think it looks great. Cute! I like it. Her skin color makes her visually different from Roll. I was sort of worried they were going to drop that based on some other concept art I'd seen, but I'm glad to see that it remains in tact.

I'm so bummed that it's only at 69% with six days to go. I'm putting in a pledge anyways. Glad to have an excuse to check back in with the community! Even if this doesn't get through, I'll be somewhat satisfied knowing that several Legends concepts made their way into Recore. TBH, because of Recore in particular, I was surprised to see RE:DASH's announcement.

There's the potential of them working on the game anyway, but it's going to be a tough sell to publishers after how his one fared. It just never really had any momentum.

The big update is out! Guess what? It is the gameplay mockup! And guess what else? It IS playable! Full of little secrets inside, too.

Woah! Didn't expect that! Man, if we'd had that at the start of the kickstarter...

So not sure if anyone knows this yet, or its posted in another thread, but they have a playable mock up of red ash...
Yeah, I downloaded and played it, and it is awesome. Obviously there is literally zero percent of the game really SHOWN, other than you can go FIND the avatars of beck and call, and you can use Beck. But the more hilarious thing is the huge amount of MML references in it, and the HUMUNGOUS amount of screw you's to Capcom. Seriously. You can kick a can behind the bakery and you get a muffin! if you find Call and talk to her, she says "The Legendary Legacy? Like I would let those old rich fools blow it up..." Yeah, this is awesome. He's basically trying to tell everyone who wants MML3 that this will basically be how he gets the story out.

I got home from work and saw the update. I certainly was not expecting that; looking forward to playing it. Hopefully it is not too little too late.
edit: I played a little of it. It's pretty small but it's something. It features a man behind a bakery counter and a can, you know what to do; get the 100 zenny muffin.

oh boy... I just played the demo.... and I have to say... I REALLY hope they haven't been working on the engine this whole month...
because what that demo needs is not red...
...Ok...You guys know how I've said I wasn't that worried about the project getting made? I am now.

They probably whipped it up somewhat quickly just to show that they could make a Legends-inspired effort. Again, though, people are just trashing anything that comes from this thanks to their Inafune/MN9 hatred for whatever reason. In the end, all those people are doing is making Capcom look more and more right, and that bums me out.
It's Apple Market revisited. If people can't see that, then I don't know what to say, and it's not like the MML3 stuff didn't start with silly placeholder stuff like that either. I don't get "fans" sometimes because they ruin it for actual fans.

It's not the content... its the genuinely badly programmed physics that concern me. My biggest hope is that it was in fact something they spent a day on.
I can forgive the lack of polished shaders, the bland scenery and the morbidly slow walking speed...
What bothers me is that without even pressing a button, it frequently failed to remember that I wasn't falling. (Hint: that is not a difficult problem to iron out. It's something that could be done in the first day) This seems like, and I hope it genuinely is, a day-one engine demo.
I've played a lot of amateur game demos from people just starting out with programming in general... and this honestly looks like one.
I am truly TRULY worried by this.
EDIT: To be fair, I don't know that it ISN'T a 5 minute mockup, and there is nothing that inherently can't be fixed. It worries me more that they would release this at all, than the problems contained in the demo.
I suppose this is then scraping the bottom for things to show people, since there are only 5 days left.

You know how MN9 had the quick demo of Beck running around in a factory that was our first look at the game? I think that's what they were doing here, but they made it playable. That's gutsy to me since it's a pre-alpha build.

Really? I mean, the physics certainly are not polished by any means, but it didn't have any failed animations or inputs for me. Perhaps it is a compatibility issue with your system (I read other people having camera input issues which it sounds like you do not). PC game betas (let alone pre-alphas) are notorious for these kind of issues. I will agree with you though, it does hit me as a desperation move.
Looking at the update that accompanied this demo I saw a few things that caught my interest:
I kinda wish they said this from the beginning, it would have helped with some earlier confusion/drama.
I wonder what it is. I hope for the sake of this kickstarter that it is big, and soon...
