In IGN.com's video section, there is a 10-second clip of an early Beta Feldynaught moving around and launching bombs! See Beta Feldynaught here!

With a little searching, one can find a couple clips of 'Mega Man Neo', it seems. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2428705459864964997 This one includes mostly video of the 'tutorial' ruin, as well as including a (possibly real, possibly faked) temporary box using very early artwork.

I remember that one! Still, this is the first Beta Video of the Feldynaught I've ever seen. I wonder why we never see beta versions of other parts of the game, like the Flutter crashing or the Marlwolf battle? Perhaps they didn't make it yet. Or maybe it wasn't even thought up then... Oh, nice sig, EC!

I think the only Bonne mech from Legends 1 that had a playable beta version was the Feldynaught, but I could be mistaken, since it's been a while since I'd seen the concept art. In the concept drawing for the beta Feldynaught, it showed early versions of Tron AND Teisel squeezed into the cockpit, which probably would've made for a rather interesting introductory sequence.

Yeah, I remember those too. Hmmm...I wonder which one is in the Beta Feldynaught...after all, they'd probably made all of those by the time this was made, so which one did they put in the early game?

I love that Feldinaught. Actually, the spelling 'Feldynaught' would be more appropriate, thanks to the kiddy nature.
It may just be the Classic Mega Man fan in me, but I loves it.

"Feldynaught" is the way it's acutally spelled in the strategy guide. The beta version and concept sketches altogether seemed more Classic Mega Man-ish to me. I wonder how it would've turned out if they'd kept the kiddy style in the end?

I actually don't have it. It belonged to the kid who got me into Legends in the first place, and I haven't talked to him since I moved. Somebody here might have a copy though. It was a REALLY good guide.

I think this game actually started out as a "Classic series"-related title very early on in development before it ended up becoming what it is today. I could be wrong though. In fact, didn't Inafune said that he wanted a completely new Rockman during the PSX days? I remember reading it on the MMLS site before.
