I was playing around with MM64 with the all items cheat on (I noticed that special items were usually only activated when they should, nor depending on the items you had; however, it does the opposite with the thing to call the support car and the red refractor in the support car event), and I noticed 3 things:
1: There's an EMPTY item that, when used, says "This item can not be used here."
2: There's three items (JUNK-ITEM 25, JUNK-ITEM 26, JUNK-ITEM 27), that say, "Maybe Roll could make something out of this..."
3: Put on the all items cheat and get to where Roll fixes the Service Truck. Talk to her, and she'll notice you have the Red Refractor. She'll say you should go fic the flutter and teleport you back where you were for a second before sending you to the forest where the flutter crashed. However, the fact the game hasn't crashed is hard to see if you're not playing in wireframe mode. Just pause and unpause to bring back the GFX. The way leading to the city ends in an abbrubt fashion that let's you jump off the map, and nobody's here. The "To Town^" exists, but it says "00The Yasmar Woods are this way." There are also two boulders blocking the way, but if you've been playing with the all special items cheat, you should be able to spring jump over the invisible wall.
Now, the rocks, the wall (We don't need no education...), the sign, and the nothing-ness are all proof of beta-ness. Also, there's a part that if you walk into the nothing-ness, strafte left, go forward, and run/jump/dash(3 times for good luck )/otherwise move into the nothing-ness in front of you, you teleport up to the cliff above you. Now jump down off the thing and you don't teleport down instantly, but rather fall. This says loads about MML/64's movement system, but it's like the entire message is encrypted by my relative Erwin Rommel's* Enigma (Come to think of it, the Purple (or was it blue ?) Code is more like what the Japanese would use, but I'm making anologies)
Now, what is Yasmar Woods? I'm not the biggest Megaman fan out there, and I started playing through Legends 1 (MM64, techinchaically) recently, and even though I keep screwing up on the names of stuff (E.X. Closer Woods instead of Cardon Forest), there's no way everyone on the internet can screw up 100% of the time. There are exactly 3 mentions of this on the net, beside these forums and the MLU fourms. 1 of them is the same as the other and is even on the same site, so this can't be a finished thing in any game. That means I have re-discovered an important beta thing. Yes, this is the same thing the the MLU Beta Cardon Forest thing is, so I re-discovered it, and either of the 3 guys I found (MLU and the guys I found on Google) discovered it. I would just be finding it, but nobody ever did anything with it, so I got lucky and rediscovered it. What we need is a Beta Legends site*.
Also note, some said in the MLU forum that a version of this level is in Legends 2.Build a base and destroy all GDI influnce. Can anyone find out how to access it? If so, could you provide info about it?
