Jeremy Parish recently wrote an article about Misadventures for his Daily Classic column. Mr. Parish has always been a talented, thoughtful writer with a lot to say, and I find his articles quite interesting. Here he turns his gaze to MoTB for a look at what makes the game great, as well as why it stands up well even in the year 2014. It's a very good read, and frankly I'm glad to see that there are still people out there who remember this old classic for the fun experience it really is.

Link seems to be borked there, Blues, but I did track down the article in question. I'm really glad other people are seeing MoTB for the hidden gem it actually is. It's definitely one of the most underrated games on the PSX library, though, Capcom's miserable underproduction of copies is the main culprit there.

Ah, Jeremy Parish and his consummate sense of fashion. I'm glad I told my mom to buy me that game when I did. Maybe I'll show her its current price tag for fun and watch the sticker shock set in.
