Happy Halloween, everyone! Now where's my Halloween presents? The Great Pumpkin never forgets to leave something nice!
Ahhh, just kidding. Yet again, it's that time of the year where we Legends Station participants dress up signature and avatar and play masquerade! I see Dashe and GreenPow are already in costume. Last year I dressed up as a Yu-gi-oh TCG monster, Phantom of Chaos, unique in that it can assume the identity of a monster in the Graveyard (that's the discard pile term in YGOTCG, mind you) and use its written ability and name for one turn.
This year, I'm dressed a bit more monumental and sentimental than usual, going as a statue of quite possibly one of the greatest heroes in mecha anime. Kamina, you died too soon, but your sacrifice shall open a door for all of us. The wishes of the dearly departed and the hopes and dreams of all us citizens of Legends Station! Woven into a double-helix, our drills will pierce heavens and dimensions!
So, how's your halloween preparations going at home, people? Gonna give out (or possibly eat) a lot of candy?

I'm going to lock myself in the back closet this Halloween now that the neighborhood kids know I exist. I never did like children. My grandmother is giving out Reeses this year so I'll probably drop by there to collect, but that's it.
My MMLS disguise this year is, aside from being par for the course for a MMLSer on Halloween, also a throwback to a fanfic of mine I like reading that involves self-insertion, gratuitous promotions, product placement for Herr's Smokey BBQ potato chips, and Teisel dying, among other things. He doesn't stay dead. I wish I'd made him stay dead longer so I could take advantage of whatever supernatural ghost powers he might have picked up, but he only really seemed to want to bro out with my Mary Sue and turn invisible to move Tron's stuff around the Gesellschaft while he was still dead.
I figured I ought to bring him back to the dead for the next week or so and give him the power to eat discontinued BBQ potato chips to compensate for the horrifying lack of awesome powers he got the last time this happened.

As much as I would like to do something for Halloween, I will keep it within the MMLS anyway. Not many people around here care for halloween anyway aside from the rave parties at the local discotheques.
I usually come up with something way earlier but only now I decided to whip out something random at the last minute. Went trough my lost images folder for an avatar inspiration and found out a folder full of Phoenix Wright sprites and I thought: "Why not?"
Couldn't do anything for a signature so there's just a creepy message. Godot is surely THAT kind of character when he wants to.
Still doesn't beat Loath with a green nose... Oh well.

Does it have to be a Legends-oriented character? I'd like to actually join in on this and have a silly idea to go with.
Also, we used to do Halloween stuff around here, but most of the kids around the neighborhood aren't kids or are too young for trick or treating anyway. Not like it was back in my day anyway, old man speak blah blah.

It doesn't have to be Legends-Oriented, but if you can make it Legends Oriented, then good on you. Speaking of Legends Oriented, I'm using a profile costume created by someone you might've seen around. Or heck, maybe you saw the someone wearing it last Halloween or the one before before that, in 2010!That being said, mine doesn't really have to be archived except for the signature, which was my own making: Might wanna take an example from those past threads so people don't forget what your costume look(s)(ed) like.

OH. Right. It always slips my mind, that archival part. >_< I wish someone had thought to archive me pretending to be fAB in 2006. Linking to this remotely is about as ineffective as actually trying to see a ghost in broad daylight.

This month went faster than I thought, so I thought fairly quickly about that to do for this year. I decided to look back on something- I had made a large number of works on DA, and thinking about one I did a few years back, based on the concept of creation, I decided to take that idea, and look at the most chaotic extend of creation, destruction and a good bit of chaos- so I just the Shadow Blot. Looking back on most of the roster of forgotten characters in the Epic Mickey games, the Phantom Blot made a strong impression in terms of ingenuity and wickedness. At first, there were two Blots planned- the Mad Doctor was initially going to be dressed in a hood similar to the Blot, but it would have created a 'Who's on first?' situation with the inky monster Mickey unknowingly created. So I thought, it was Halloween, I made a lot of works, and I was looking for something evil and chaotic, so the Shadow Blot fit the bill for me.

The last thing MMLS needs is an archived image of Tsujimoto, so I've decided it's in everybody's best interest that I abstain from leaving my costume here. Personally, I'm working a full shift when it comes to Halloween day. It's doubtful that I'll be leaving the store until around 9PM. By then, all the kids will have passed out from their sugar rushes, so it's no real skin off my back.

Well, time to let everyone in on my secret. I'm really a member of the Beanbean Kingdom. I'm not very good at hiding that fact, but there you go. Secret's out. Also, that costume above me might be the scariest thing I've seen this year!

Switching from the friendly neighborhood Buster Cannon to something a lot more...sinister. I used this one before, but I'm out of fresh ideas, so yeah.

I've been meaning to ask this, Dashe , does your Teisel happen to reference the cartoon series Danny Phantom by any chance? That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw 'im.

Only in the quotes section. Ghost Teisel predates Danny Phantom by a good five years. If I'd written that piece of tripe in 2004 or later I'd probably be giving you instruction to shoot me in the face right now.

Anybody just spending Halloween inside tonight? We're not even giving out candy this year around here since it's just too much for how few go trick-or-treating nowadays, plus the weather was pretty rainy on top of that. Closest I came to doing anything Halloween-related was playing that event in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Yeah, I am. We make a fruitless attempt to put out candy every year. There was this one time when we literally just left a bowl of candy on the front porch and nobody even touched it. Usually I end up buying a bag of stuff I like, setting it in a bowl, and then when nobody comes to get it, I just eat the whole thing myself. Not all at once, mind you, but most of it does go to me.

My bad. I somehow forgot about this thread.
It's even worse here if we tried to buy candy because I have two family members that absolutely can not have sugar while I don't even really like it that much anymore. It's really different from when I went out as a kid a few years because there were so many kids that went out. Maybe it's only two or three families with kids in the entire neighborhood now. Kind of depressing, but I guess it's better than just sitting near the front door waiting on them to show up.
