Legends Stuff in Rockman Xover

Someone unpacked Xover and found this video of the Flutter being sucked into a wormhole.  So if you are feeling particularly starved for Legends things you haven't seen before, watch it and be underwhelmed!



The only other thing I could find was a couple of traced-looking card things of Tron and Roll in bikinis.  I'm not even sure if those cards have any point other than just being eye candy.  Still, I figure it's probably a good idea to just have this section here should they ever decide to put more Legends references in what is quite possibly the laziest-looking game I've ever seen in my life.

Looks like something that just falls into one of the "Waiting for Legends 3: A Tribute" categories. It was a nice 9 seconds though.

...Right. I forgot that Xover was the game/demo thing that someone completely recreated in Flash. Oh well, I guess.

Wow, and, where are those, you know, card things you were talking about? I'm... i mean, a friend of mine has a strange urgency to watch them. 9_9,

Here're the links.  The images themselves make me feel somewhat unclean, so I'm gonna leave 'em as links, seeing as MI#1 exists and all.  The awkward anatomy on Tron especially.  That face literally just looks like a tracing of something I've seen before.  It's practically a mirror image of that winky face she was making as a MvC2 figure, haphazardly put on some other body with very little regard for the way perspective works.  Her right shoulder seems almost dislocated.

Like I said, I don't know what these cards are even FOR as far as gameplay goes.  Pretty sure the chances of the Teisel Bonne swimsuit edition cards popping up are slim to none (and slim just left town).

Just replace the NES cartridge with an iOS, and that'd be a perfect reenactment of my feelings towards Capcon blatantly cutting into the Legends IP and rubbing salt in its wounds. They're practically going out of their way to annoy people now.

A quick look at the MMKB page reveals that there are other Legends BM card things in Worlds 1 and 4.  You can pick up Shu, which has a descriptor of "DEF ↑ α," whatever that means, in World 1, and Bola and Klaymoor in World 4.  No new art, they're just cleaned up versions of the concept art that's already on MMLS.  

Riddle me this, Capcom.  What were you on when you greenlit this, out of all possible things up for greenlighting, in the first place?
