operationrainfall.com/capcom-suggests-dual-destinies-physical/Like always, Svensson isn't making any promises. However, the fact that he talked about this method brings a dash of hope to long-time fans of the series. The mention of this being used to influence on a possible localization of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is also material for hope. Let's just voice our support and hope for the best.

The irony of this entire thing, is that the physical release of AA5 will be more expensive than the digital copy. Not really seeing the entire point, unless you like having a copy for the sake of collection. For better or worse, digital distribution seems like a safer way of releasing localized games. Especially if you're dealing with a specific audience.

Digital distribution has the drawback of being linked directly to your device with the 3DS, meaning if it should break, you have to -buy a new set of games-. There is no floating license server for the 3DS platform according to a bunch of nintendo comments... So basically its like your digital copy IS a physical copy, but its one you can't touch in any way. If anything happens to it, you're out of luck.
I prefer my property to be property.
