PS2 shipments in Japan cease

Yup. It's now official. The PS2, with almost thirteen years of lifespan, has been discontinued in Japan. Sony announced that once their current stock is depleted, that'll be it. While it might not mean much, since they've had twelve years worth of product produced, it is sad to see such venerated console be retired.

I feel ripped off after buying those PS2 version of PS3/360 games now that I have a 360 =(
