Plus Bigger = more potential. Don't you think? I'll have to disagree there. You're trying to remake MML2, right? In that case, changing the dimensions of the Flutter is criminal. Honestly, you're lucky that's is so small in size. Less room to screw up that way. Edit: I think he means everything in general. Room size, hallway size, layout. Everything.

Hey, hey. Just make pictures of your maps and I'll point out exactly what is wrong and how you can fix it. I'm pretty sure you will understand it better once we have pictures and everything. Also, you should still consider making a shorter, original game. Maybe to learn how to make a game? There's no need to tackle such a huge game. I'm not trying to force my idea on you, I just want to see a completed game. Legends 2 is a really big game to be just remade. Are you sure you want to use a battle system like this? I remember seeing a gun script somewhere. You could shoot in 8 directions and everything with it. Also good, Ace is what I'm using right now myself. I started with 2003 and learned that originally. After that, I switched to XP, learning some of the Ruby script, then VX and finally Ace... Ever thought about using the H-Mode7 script? You can make "3D" maps with it that can rotate and everything. Aw crap, you are making me want to make a Legends fangame myself. T_T I am checking every potential and script lol Their is already a script out to battle in real time, but it doesn't have enough weapons.. Any ways I don't see the point of a Very Small room, the sprites won't fit.

I second what Truner said about making a shorter, original game instead. From my many, many experiences in watching Legends fangames almost all consistently die over the last seven or so years, smaller scope = better chance of success. Also, that Roll sprite looks an awfully lot like the one Mir@k made, under which is a small graphic instructing people not to steal and use it without his explicit permission. If you did use his sprite, did you make sure to ask him first?

Any ways I don't see the point of a Very Small room, the sprites won't fit. You didn't answer the question. If you think expansion is simply "make traversing time longer thus making the game larger", then you'll just be going the way of Legacy of Goku 1. And check the scaling examples used in my first post. I make citations for this reason. Edit: I also agree with Dashe & Truner's suggestion of making a small game as practice first. You can't accomplish something if you don't even know what you want.

I like how you can change clothes, but shouldn't MegaMan wear armor in battle?
Also, that MegaMan portrait kind-of freaks me out. Same with the Roll one.
I noticed that the walking animation has disappeared. I'm guessing it's a by-product of the clothes-changing mechanic and the lack of more sprites for each set of clothes...
Playable Roll seems like a nice addition if done correctly. She even has her own set of clothes. Though it's weird that, when checking items as her, the script shown seems to belong to MegaMan. Also, when she attempted to change clothes with the one above, MegaMan talked. Roll talked in the others. It's sort of an inconsistency.
Like others, I think the Flutter is too big. I noticed how you added more stuff, but you could still reduce some of the walking, unused area.

As for giving credits to others for sprites, they will be the last thing, I never claimed I own the sprites (aside the clothes changes, I don't), In fact I had people sending me sprites suggesting to Help. I increased the speed of Mega Man to Max, Thus Mega man does not appear to walk and neither Roll. I will Fix this. As for the Map, I think it will be awkward to make it small, how smaller do you think its suitable to be? And a playable Roll should defiantly be interesting.

Walking around one's own house is not supposed to feel like an adventure. It's supposed to feel cozy. Just try to make it to a realistic scale.
Bigger space =/= bigger adventure. Not everything has to be huge. In fact, making your "home base" creates the impression that your overworld is that much more expansive. One needs a good point of reference. The contrast between "small home" and "large outside world" is a good thing to exploit.
About the sprites: It doesn't matter if you "never claimed" you own the sprites. By not giving credit to/acquiring permission from the original artists, it is strongly implied that you are claiming such ownership. That should be the FIRST thing you do when using other's work, not the last thing. This goes for any copyrighted material. Public Domain resources, of course, don't apply.
Of course, if people are stealing sprites and then passing them on to you, you'd have no idea that you may be infringing on someone else's copyrights.

I adjusted the Size of the flutter, and I think you guys have a very good point. I am about to upload a video showing the new map. I also added Gramps room. Here it is : www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5rkJwcsE5w

LOL "Gramps' chair is really big" XD, that was funny. I kind of see what you're trying to do, and why your rooms are so big. You're trying to fit all those large props into it without the room looking crowded. But think about when you're playing MML2, Megaman barely has room to take 3 steps in any direction. If you just take the bookshelves down to one or two shelves instead of 7, it will go a long way to getting it to the right size. I like Roll's portrait. It's cool and different and casual looking. Also, just so you know: Their = More than one person owns something: "This is their apricot pie." There = the location of a person, place or thing: "The diary is over there." (Think of it as "Here" + "T") They're = Contraction of "they are": "They're probably changing right now, so please knock before coming in."

It still looks very big. Remember, the Flutter is not some luxurious ship, it's a rather small thing. Could you create a sample for me then..

Sure thing. Would you like me to create a VX Project Map or just do something on paper? Either way is fine with me as long as you can use it. VX ACE Project Map. that if you don't mind, I will give you credit in case I use it. That is after my original plan to you give you credit in the "Special thanks" portion in the credits.

There's no need to credit me. Now, I started making the map, but do note that I'm not going to do your work. Using this website as a reference, I managed to make a REALLY rough concept on how the room sizes should be. As you can see, I used the basic graphics, so some of the desks or the scope thing in barrel's room. However, I think this could prove to be quite useful when adapting things for your remake. If you want, I can go further with this, but I think you get the point even with this. Now just try to use these sizes, room order, and basic layout and add your touch to it. Like how I totally didn't put a wall there at all (that is so that you can see the room better). And with that, I'm off to make a game or something since I installed it. If you need any more azu-sist with your game, feel free to drop a message either here, or my PM box. Just remember that I'm not here to make your own game. If I'm going to help, I'm going to help in a way that'll still make you do all the work. I'm not some kind of charity, nor am I interested in remaking MML2. Now if you were to work on an original game... To be honest, it looks a bit too old styled. I prefer mine, no offense. But every one have their opinions.

I don't think he was trying to show the graphics style to use. Just the size of the rooms.
Well, good luck with this. I hope you get to finish it and it comes out how you want.
Peace out.
