These guides are interesting things, and I have a feeling that one of them was the source for Reaverbot names and a few official artwork pictures.
I've heard of the guide but I have no idea where you might find it. I'd ask fab real nicely if I were you, he may've seen one at some point.

I don't need one (Although it would certainly be interesting to own one), I just want to see pictures of what it looks like. Or maybe the year it came out, too.

The MML and MoTB strategy guides were both published by Prima Games, and written by Christine Cain. The cover art for both guides was ripped right off the game CD, so it just looks like the game cover, only cropped and enlarged to fit a book cover. The MML strategy guide was published in 1998--right around when the game itself was released. I have to admit it's one of the best strategy guides I'd ever read, and I even read the whole thing before I'd gotten a chance to play the game. Although it doesn't cover the Ultimate Technique, it's got detailed descriptions of Kattelox, the characters, a complete ruins map that shows how all the ruins are connected, a top-notch enemy compendium, and summaries of every sidequest in the game. I don't think it leaves ANYTHING out. Plus, the watermark on all of the pages is from the MML concept art, and that's just plain awesome.
The MoTB guide was published in 2000, also around the time of the game's release, although I'd never seen it in any game store and had to order it off Amazon.com. Considering it was compiled by the same author, it was a huge disappointment. The guide provides data on each and every servbot, room in the Gessellschaft, and mission, as well as a few new reaverbot names. However, this is mostly limited to the things you run into in the Nakkai Ruins (i.e. Sand Reaverbots, Snake Reaverbots--gaah, I hate those names!, Fuyuus, Arijigs, and Oyazans), and doesn't give names for ANY of the bosses, INCLUDING the Hanmuru Doll, which as we all know is...a Hanmuru Doll, and not a "giant Reaverbot". There's also a lack of an enemy compendium, which annoys me. It's like Cain never bothered to research any of the data she'd put together in the MML guide at all.
Unfortunately, both guides are currently out of stock and out of print from both the original publisher and from amazon.com, so your best bet's probably ebay, even though there are a lot of people who get ripped off from there (it's never happened to me, but I've heard enough stories). There is unfortunately no MML2 guide in existence, which explains the overall lack of knowledge on most of MML2's reaverbots on this site and most others.

I think I saw this somewhere, but I didn't get it because I didn't know what Mega Man Legends was at that point in time.
This is all nice and awesome, but I just want proof of its existance, a picture or two, please?

It's the thing cheap people do where you lock on to an enemy, run around it and shoot. In Legends 1, you couldn't move while locked on, but you could still circle enemies, and if you got it right, the shots would curve and hit the enemy. While you're doing this, you very rarely get hit, yourself.

HereThis should take you to the Prima Games website, where you can see it's currently out of stock and out of print . The MoTB guide is similar, and I actually have that one here at my house. I'll scan a picture of it eventually.
