Project X Zone sounds interesting and promising. It's also good to hear that there would be two Mega Man characters in this crossover.
Looking forward to when this game gets released.

I hope there are more SEGA characters. Either way, I am definitely getting this game.
Did I already post in this thread?

Hey guys, this game has Tron and the Servbots in it now, too. How much you guys wanna bet it'll be Japan only now because of Volnutt's Law?* *A game's chances of being released outside of Japan drastically decrease with the addition of every Rockman DASH character added. If the roster contains too many Legends characters, you can usually bet we won't get it.

Well, Namco x Capcom never made it over here, so I am kind of skeptical as to whether this one can make it.

Well, Namco x Capcom never made it over here, so I am kind of skeptical as to whether this one can make it. ^ This right here. Project X Zone is a spiritual sequel to Namco×Capcom. It's from the same series of Namco's crossover games. It even has the original main-character protagonists from N×C. IIRC, that never got released outside of Japan because it had a bunch of Namco characters that almost no one outside Japan had ever heard about. And the decision was ultimately Namco's, since their company developed and published it. I don't think Capcom US had a say at all, although maybe they could've, if they really wanted to. There was actually another game in Namco's crossover series (not featuring Rockman DASH characters) called Cross Edge that did get released in North America. But it seems like that's because Nippon Ichi— whose characters were featured in the game that time around —pushed for it instead, and published it themselves in NA. EDIT: Oh. StreetFighter×Tekken is also part of that series, I should mention. But like Cross Edge, that was published (and even developed) by another company— Capcom. Wikipedia says they're actually developing a separate game called Tekken×StreetFighter. Same basic premise, but it's developed by Namco this time around and uses Tekken's gameplay instead of Street Fighter's. Maybe that will be kept in Japan too. Aaaaanyway... This game (Project X Zone) has a better chance maybe, since the Namco characters included thus far are mostly pretty well-known. I hope it does get released; I'd probably buy it just for the fact that it's got MegaMan X and Legends characters.

While we're on the subject, Namco themselves have always been odd with their releases. I can't tell you how many times they've confused fans of the Tales series with what games get brought over and which ones don't.

As mentioned somewhere else, Tron and Co. are very flexible by design, and would easily fit in crossovers; they are iconic, but not enough that they would stand out too blatantly among a group (As a legacy character, Rock/Megaman won't work just as well by comparison, for one).
@ Dashe: But Tatsunoko VS Capcom made it through... (even if the cutscenes didn't)

To hear that Tron will also be in game makes this game sound even cooler.

I'm actually surprised that nobody mentioned this; but if you pay closer attention to Tron's screenshots, you can clearly see a Sharukurusu being wailed upon. Whether this means that other Reaverbots are being going to be included as mooks is up for debate, however.

Weren't Reaverbots part of the original Kobun Rush attack from MvC? If memory serves me right, Kobun Rush consisted of both the Servbots, and (occasionally) Data. Edit: In MvC2, the attack always consists of thirty-nine Servbots and Data.

@ GP: I see. So one or two of them are behind the wheel(?) of the King Kobun...?

It depends, really. In the MvC universe, Tron just transmits a signal to her escorting Servbot, transforming the little thing from normal Servbot, into KIIIING SERVBOOOOT! In which case, we're left with three options. #1: She'll temporarily modify an existing Servbot for this crossover game. #2: She'll take a muscle-bound Servbot from the DevRoom create Servbot #43 with those schematics in mind. #3: She'll just go for the MvC route, and transmit the signal again. Honestly? My money is on #3.

Well I bought the special edition (+ OST) on Saturday, and it is good.
The game system's surprisingly quick to figure out, though the early stages have been pretty easy so far. Unsure if the Endless Frontier series uses the same SP/XP system, but the change in way of casting skills makes it closer to a fighting game (i.e. beat the target up to gain points for using special commands and super moves).
I was expecting Raetsel to be Zengar's partner, but that would have broke the game (if SRW Alpha 3 and OGs is any indication).
Also, that Rikiya as Frank West who I keep calling Jack Bauer by instinct.
