Yes, yes, I know...I make too many threads After buying the pc version of MML, I've found two glitches that I have not seen on the psx version... First, when you are going to the B class ruins, when Roll tells you she is going to ram the gate open, she just sits there, not moving at all. The only way to get into the ruins is to get in the support car, and get out. You will be inside the fenced area, and the gate will still be standing. Roll's car with be OUT of the fenced area. Go into the gate and complete it. IF you don't get the refractor when you come out, you will have to fight the servbots again. IF you do, the gate will be broken and Roll will be waiting for you outside the Ruin as she usually does when she breaks the fence in the PSX and 64 version. Second, is a glitch I came across testing my "Speed Run" theory. After glitching the game to get into the main gate early, I drilled my way into the Clozer Woods sub gate before the flutter was fixed. Once entering, I tried to open some doors. Yet, none would open besides the one I got in through. Also, the one Bash guarding the treasure chest in that room was invisible execept its shadow, and so was the chest! If you own the pc version and know some glitches exclusive to that platform, please post!

I'm afraid, my friend, that you may be suffering from an insufficient PC.
I own the PC version. It's the only version I own, and it's functioned very well. I've never pulled the Speed Run trick, but I most certainly have gotten into the Cardon Forest Ruins without having to pull any fancy moves. I'm afraid the problem may be on your own end, not the actual game.
