New band inspired by MML: The Elysium Trigger

So apparently there's a band out there somewhat inspired by MML ^{(specifically the sounds of MML2 it seems)} called The Elysium Trigger. They're a relatively recently created band from Virginia working on their first album. Currently they consist of only two members, Jonathan Webber and Dennis Williams, with spots open for two more, a bassist and a percussionist. The genre of their music? Progressive/Punk Rock ^{(in that order : o )}, though there are elements of synth and symphonic in there too if you listen hard enough. Generally their sound is pretty good; it's smooth and super professional. Have a listen for yourself here.


This is my personal favorite of the six songs released so far, called 'Emily'. I really hope they do more songs similar to this one.

This song is pretty good, I'll be sure to check out the rest of them tonight. The beginning of this song actually sounds alot like this MML2 track:

I found their music quite interesting, it´s definitevely different from actual music (at least what´s popular in Mexico)

I had this small feeling that the band´s name was just a coincidence, so I checked their facebook page, (they posted the lyrics too, that´s a plus) and yes, they are influenced by MML, they can have my blessing. ^_^;

Ikr? It's almost as if they did it with Microsoft Paint. :23:

But still, I guess we should focus on the music, especially since it's not a prominent band. XD Maybe if they're lucky they'll get a professional artist for themselves who can do a cool logo for them.

There is another band out there called The Protomen that' have some great Mega Man music! It's not Legends inspired, but it's still great! Check it out if you haven't!

I'm not hearing the MML, but they seem to be a decent band.
