If I start writing my letter to Capcom now, and send it tomorrow, will I be late for the campaign?

If you don't send them a letter at all, you will definitely be late for the campaign. >__>

This was the suggested mail in date: Pacific Time Zone: Send August 5-6 Mountain Time Zone: Send August 4-5 Central Time Zone: Send August 3-4 Eastern Time Zone: Send August 2-3 International shipping: Send July 25-26, or just ASAP. Thanks HF! So assuming you are somewhere in the US there is still time. With that said, if someone wants to write a letter and can't send it in the suggested time frame I say go ahead and send anyway. Better late than never, but if at all possible do send it in the suggested time frame. Edit: Looks like Dashe beat me to it.

Despite the fact that CAPCOM said that the outcry from the fans won't make them change their mind about uncancelling Legends 3, I join/ vote what was linked on legends3.com.
I really hope that if there were any hatemail that was sent to CAPCOM, it was in the minority.

I think I should get to work on writing that letter to Capcom. I'll scan it and post it here when it's finished before I send it.

This is a question for everyone to answer;
What makes legends, legends? What is it about this series that just makes it near and dear to your heart?
If several promo videos for the campaign we're put together that shows others what makes this series so great then we could increase our numbers.
Sound like something worth looking into?

I find that to be a great idea to show them the reason why we adore the Legends series and why we're so upset about the latest installment being cancelled.

I have finaly finished my hand-written letter to Capcom! Here's a picture. And yes, I did fit all of my paragraphs into the perfect shape of a Servbot. Incase you can't read it, heres what it says. "Dear Capcom, As you can tell by the stationary, I am a huge Megaman fan. But, that's not the only game from your presteigious company that I love. Darkstalkers and Street Fighter are other examples aas to why I have utmost respect for your company, but that's not why I'm contacting you. Sorry to get carried away. I'm contacting you as a concerned Megaman Legends fan. I realize that the Capcom of Japan shareholders have no 'current' plans to reinstate the Megaman Legends 3 Project, and I understand that their decision hasn't changed much,but I request that they have faith in the project, and consider restarting the project sometime by christmas at latest. (Or more realistically, spring of next year.)I'm sure that you've received dozens of letters from other Megaman Legends fans, some negative, some positive, and I don't know weather or not joining this effort is helping, but let's look at the physcal logistics of what uncanceling Megaman Legends 3 would bring. If memory serves me right, Capcom at first scrapped the origional, not thinking that it would sell, but later gave it a second chance, and it soon grew to be your biggest best-selling franchise. If the origional Megaman could suprise the Capcom brass, maybe despite the sales of the first two Megaman Legends, this one could sell. Certainly with all the recent internet and media attention this contreversial dicision has caused, who knows? Megaman Legends 3 could sell extraordinarily well. You know what they say. Third time's the charm right? Maybe this third would be the charm. I have the utmost faith in your company, and certainly the developers, that if you were to just give the prototype a chance, it could sell unexpectedly well.After all, there were and still are 80,000 of us who helped out in the develpoment, and since Megaman Legends 3's cancelation, the count of Servbots on the US Devroom jumped up to 12,000. Now, we have even more Servbots than ever. So with twice the ammount of fan-support, this is living proof that Megaman Legends 3 will sell, and ultimately be successful. So Capcom, I beg you, no. I kindly ask you. Please give Megaman Legends 3 a fair shot. There are many of us that would love to give this game a shot. You would make me a happy costomer if you did. Sincerely, Orion X. Ake." So what do you think folks?

Pretty good but you better send it off pronto if you want it to get there by the 8th. Even if it doesn't get there on the 8th it will be okay, it's our deadline not Capcoms.

I just spent a little time talking with one of the members of the 100,000 Strong page. He's planning an event at the end of the month- he's going to do a weekend stream devoted to all games Mega Man. Legends 1 and 2 are on the list among the Classic and X series. Here's the page of the details, if anyone's interested: www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=215025605211480He also said that if anyone wants to help with the stream, they could leave him a message on facebook, or talk to him via skype his id: bboytips ( he asked me to put it up if anyone wanted to contact him about the stream).

I'm still not convinced that this is entirely over. As I mentioned in my letter to Capcom, they did this before with the very first megaman. inafune-san had spent weeks developing Rockman, and showed it to the higher-ups, (I suspect the same people who canned MML3,) and they had scrapped it unsure if it would sell. But in due time, they reopened the project and sold it in select markets in Japan. It instantly caught on, so they sold it nation-wide. It sold like hotcakes. So they eventually sold it in the US as Megaman, and soon countries in Europe, and everywhere they sold it, it caught on. Enough for them to make a sequel, wich got even more popularity and fanfare. Now Megaman is practically their mascott.
So with that little history lesson, I beleve that this could happen to MML3. And with the Servbot count on the Devroom jumping up to 12,000, and all the media attention they got post-cancelation, I beleve that they could change their minds, like they did with the first Megaman, and make a huge profit.
Cartainly 3DS sails would shoot through the roof if they change their minds and sell the Prototype version.
EDIT(To avoid double-posting.): I just sent in my letter this morning, so I'm a little late. Is that bad?

Sweet. I'm almost tempted to say the one that looks like a bunch of paragraphs in wall-of-text form is mine... Could it be...? Nah, the signature isn't bold enough. Despite the slight feeling of jealousy of pressstart's letter being clearly visible, I'm psyched to see Sven's reading all of them. Now I wonder what he'll do with them... Maybe fax them over to Japan? Looks like we ought to start brewing up the next event.
